Very thick and heavy. I was looking for a light sock with decent padding on the sole. These arent it.

These socks have helped my feet immensely at work. I'm on my feet and walking miles for 10-12 hours a day and these socks have helped my poor battered feet immeasurably. Gonna order a few more pairs!

At first when looking at them, it didn't impress me. However once I put them on, they fit well, and the cushion aspect was nice. Normally I wear books, qand always want a cushioned sock. These did the job, and after a month plus they are just as nice as the day I got them. I will be ordering more to replace my older socks.

It is as described. Mid weight not thick. Very Attractive with hiking type low quarter boots. I believe DarnT runs a little tight. Im a very avg size 10 and the large is pretty snug. Id definitely go a size up unless you are familiar with the brand and prefer that. Height- a few inches over that same boot or less than half calf in me.

Good socks that are comfortable and last a long time. Ill probably buy more.

Very comfortable in work boots.

Very comfortable and tough. Hard to get both in the same sock. Ive worn these in 100-degree plus weather and theyve felt amazing. The only thing Id tweak is the fit over the top of the foot. They felt like they bunched up a bit on top.

I stand on concrete floors all day, and spend a decent amount of time on ladders. I also wear steel toe boots and have pretty intense foot pain. These are the best socks I've ever found in terms of the cushion performance, and they really do help with sweaty feet as well. I was hesitant at first over the price, but with the warranty these come with and the releif they have already brought me, they're worth it. I will be ordering more pairs soon. If you're on the fence, get a couple pairs for sure.

Nice height to wear with 6 inch boots. Nice cushion for all day wear. I have both the timber and grey and both are stylish with more modern coloring besides ordinary white and black socks. Not flashy, for people who like that sort of thing. All around good work sock.

Ive been an 8-year and 3-dozen pair heavy user and fan of Darn Tough socks, with my heaviest, but. it only, use of the mens Boot Full Cushion Midweight Hiking Sock. From long trail runs, to board room; from jungle trekking to heavy cold wet winter ranch work; : ankle length runners, light hikers, midweight boot socks, black dress wear, etc. have been my feets best friends. Love em and will keep buying them. No regrets and no looking back on a single pair.

Bought the over the calf socks and they are extremely comfortable but wont stay over your calf. Have to stop and pull them back up so my boots dont rub

Yes every Darn Tough sock is superb...but, the William Jarvis Boot Midweight Work Sock is superb-i-er.
