This sandal is a lovely nuetral shade that can work with anything, and the back of the sandal doesn' "flap". The heel is dressy enough for the office, a night out, or a day-time special event. The fit is very comfortable. The sole features a perforated raised area that sits beneath the ball of the foot to gently pad it. This also serves to prevent sliding out of the sandal. The heel strike area is also padded and very comfortable. The leather upper is soft and pliable and has a small elastic gore to provide flex. In all this is a really well made shoe that offers many wearing options. My only regret is that it isn't offered in more colors. Don't hesitate to buy!

Very soft and comfy! I have 2 pairs of these. Gold and the Anthracite Cow Metallic. Neutral, goes with so many things. Excellent quality, nicely made. Highly recommend. I can walk all day in them.

Very versatile - the metallic color could be interpreted to pair well with any other metal you have in your ensemble of clothing or jewelry. They're classier than flip flops, but they're just as easy to throw on when you're running out the door. They're easily dressed up or down, and decently comfortable. No regrets.

I liked these so much I ordered them in the gold. Both colors are great, classy and comfy. Highly recommend!

I love how classic and simple this sandal is. Very comfortable and I don't have any problems walking in these. Great addition to my summer collection.

This is a great sandal. Wearing now with jeans - perfect. Will be able to wear with summer skirts and dresses - dressy enough. Low heel, but not flat. Just right! I have a wide foot and these are just right, so they likely are too wide for a normal to narrow foot.

Sharp looking sandals by Sofft. Soft leather, interesting color, perfect height of the heel, good cover with my bunions. For sure I am keeping these and would recommend especially if you do not like high heels or flats. I wish more shoes, boots and sandals would be made with similar heels.

Was hoping for a low heeled shoe for everyday wear. Sadly, these looked more like house slippers rather than shoes to wear outside of home.

These shoes were out of the box and I wore them all day! they are very comfortable and looked great!

So bummed! I ordered in my normal size 9 1/2 M. Shoes are beautiful. But I put on and my toes reached end of sole. As I walked my toes kept creeping to edge. I knew if the leather stretched at all (which it would because it was super soft), my toes would hang Overend. I hate that look. I went to website to see about going up to a 10, and of course, OUT OF STOCK! Dang it! I then checked on black, and it was out of stock, too. I love Sofft, and was hoping this would work. I think it is about a 1/4 to1/2 size short. And I’m a large 9 1/2. Not meant to be for me. If my foot had been a little wider, these probably would have worked.

Love these - go with everything; easy but look put together.

I read about the Sofft Nola on a fashion blog and decided to give them a try. Well, I liked them so much I bought both the gold and the anthracite. I found the 6.5 to be true to size, the shoe fits my slightly wide fore-foot (and bunion), and has the rubber soles I like. They are nicely padded and have not caused any blisters after wearing for 4 hours at the mall. I have a pretty flat foot, so the arch support is fine for me. I think the shoes look great with my jeans and linen pants--appropriate for my job as teacher as well. I do not have any problems with the shoes slipping off or flapping noises. Highly recommend this cute, comfy, casual shoe.

Love these shoes!! Very stylish and great color (anthracite) in person, and so much more comfortable than I would have guessed. Do not slip off when you walk, and true to size.

I have slightly wide feet; not WW, but wider than most/many, so that most shoes are too uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour. These were interesting. As soon as I put them on I thought I’d have to return them because my toes didn’t fit through the leather entirely. But they are so pretty and well constructed that I decided to give them a shot. I wore them in the house every day for an hour at a time. Then, when I wore them outside they were stretched enough to not be excruciatingly tight. I got a blister that first day (although it was well deserved since I wore them for 8 hours and clocked about 15 miles on foot). However, after a month of short walking treks, they are fine. I like the low heel, which provides a marked lift and dresses them up. The colour is true to the pic. The padded foot bed is an added comfort bonus, too. Also, they will make it through a few summers without depreciable wear and, especially tear. Thanks, Zappos.

I have been looking for a black summer shoe that could go from work to play for quite a while and am so glad I finally found these! I am very picky about the fit of my shoes and these hit all the marks. The heel has a little height, but is fine for all day wear; the strap across the top is comfortable and fits well across my foot; and the shoes don't flop when I walk. They have the simple, polished look I was looking for. I have a narrow heel with a wider toe box and the strap across the top fits well. I only wish they came in more colors!

I ordered these in black and the gold. They're super comfortable and well made for the price. I'm definitely keeping the black ones. The gold pair look like Zsa Zsa Gabor's house shoes. I haven't made a decision about them yet. But maybe I'll wear them around my house and feel like a princess!

I like that this shoe feels like bit like a slipper but is dressier than a flat; and the block heel makes the distinction. The color is true to the pic. The quality of the both the leather across the top of the foot, and the heel are very good I have not worn them outside yet, so I don’t know how they’ll feel after a day or a few hours of walking, but I think once the leather gives they will be fine. I have a wider than average foot but I rarely buy wide shoes because after they stretch they’re (usually). And I’m hoping that’s the case with this shoe. I also like that they don’t make that annoying slap-slap sound against the heel. Thanks Zappos!

Very comfy right out of the box. Beautifully made, look nice with jeans or a simple summer dress. This is the kind of show you can wear comfortably for hours. I might just get a second pair in another color!

I have a super wide box toe foot with a high instep. These shoes fit very well. I have difficulty fitting into other styles like these. I would say my size is a 9w but I bought the 9.5 and love them. I wore them to a wedding, super comfortable for dancing. They did not slip off, as they were snug. They are stretching with wearing them more. Overall great shoe!

My feet are in between a 7 and 71/2 and I bought a 7, which fits perfectly. The leather is soft and has a nice shine to it. These work equally well with jeans and dresses. Someone said in their review that they look like slippers; no disrespect, but i can't figure out how they would think that. These are some of the nicest flat sandals I own. I really can't stand plastic molded heels and so love that these have wooden heels. They are comfortable, though I wouldn't want to walk miles in them. They are taking the place of some Danskos that I wore out. They are more stable than the Danskos and I feel less likely to turn an ankle than the Danskos. I don't have any information on longevity, but all of my Sofft shoes have lasted a long time. I would totally buy them again!

Purchased the 7.5 in black and I love them. I did wear them right out of the box for a full day of walking all over a University campus for graduation. They were very comfy except I did get a blister rubbed on right top of foot. Left was totally fine. However, I don't believe this is the fault of the shoe, I think it was mine and it didn't happen until the very end of the day when my feet were overall tired and swollen a bit from being on them all day. The contrast brown of the heel and the little black leather trim on the footbed with the brown stitching makes these look very luxe on the foot and allows them to be more dressy or casual. Can be worn with everything! I would LOVE to see a dark brown in this style and am considering purchasing the anthracite.
