I wear these as dressier office pants, but they can take a lot more abuse when I'm in the shop. The new ones are a return to the tighter weave fabric of 10 or 15 years ago. They are not as soft to the touch as previous recent ones, but they hold a crease and take abuse a lot better. I'm glad they returned to this fabric.

I wanted to try a different style of pants something different than blue jeans I think I'm going to like the fit and durability of the slim fit

Title says it all. Can we get the full color range in these rad pants? 874s have twice the options. Would love to have some more choices there (GREEN!!).

I enjoy these classic pants with a modern twist.
They are almost the same as the classic 874, but with a trimmer cut.

I decided recently to order the slim straight work pants. I as I have a very physical job, I find these pants the ultimate in comfort with no pressure on my stomach area when bending or reaching. Thanks for a great product!

I've been wearing the low rise pants for the better part of 5 years or so, and just tried my new pair of slim fit pants, and they are great. My next purchase will be all slim fits, I can't wait to add them to my wardrobe. Thanks for making such great quality pants. I wear dickies everyday, for work, for play, and I will continue to do so.

It's hard for skinny guys to wear normal Dickies 874's and not look like they're either wearing high-waters or clown pants. The slim straights are basically the same leg width, but are designed to be worn at the hip, instead of the waist. It makes a big difference. One thing to note though is that because they rest on the hip, the "waist" sizes run bigger, so instead of getting your normal size, get them a size smaller.

Good quality, and well made as usual, but they ride really low on the hips. I had a couple pairs 7 or 8 years ago that didn't sit so low, but the updated style is very different. The pockets are quite small as well for being work pants

Length is great but they are not very slim fit. These run pretty baggy.

Bought these trying to know ruin all of my blue jeans because I bought the slim fit skinny leg ones and loved them even though they only came in black, but these ones must be slim fit straight legged because I feel like I'm wearing Jinko jeans and I probably won't wear these again so it's a waste of my money. Make more colors in the slim fit skinny legged for skinny people like me

These are very wide in the pant leg to be called slim fit. I think the slim tapered would be a better fit for me.

The size says 30 waist but it is more of a 32 and for a slim fit that's the opposite direction it should be so either buy one size smaller or not at all

Very, very stiff, they feel super rugged but there is 0 wiggle room. Definitely go at least a size or 2 up in the waist.

Bought 3 pairs of work pants and 1 pair of shorts. All 4 regular fit with 34" flex waist. 1 pair of pants and the shorts fit great in the waist. 1 pair of pants was loose but acceptable. Other pair of pants was almost an inch to big in the waist.
Another purchase two weeks ago of 1 pair of slim fit work pants and 1 pair of shorts with 34" waist. The shorts fit fine in the waist but the pants were about and inch big in the waist.

Pants did not fit very well. I got 2 of the same size and they fit different from each other. One pair doesn't stay clipped.
I bought Dickies for the quality but i am disappointed.

I love these pair of Dickies slim fit work pants. I think the normal non slim fit ones look like baggy pants. They are very durable and kinda stiff when you first try them on. I would recommend washing them first before wearing them and also, I would recommend buying a size up ie. if you wear a 34/30 get a 36/30 instead. They shrink over a period of time and they will eventually become a size 34 by the time it's worn and wash enough. It would be nice to have a shorter seam length like down to a 26 or 28 for the shorter leg folks. Otherwise, good pants for automotive attire.

I realized too late that the left rear pocket on these pants is fake. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't cost more than another $.15 per pair to make it a real pocket, that's making it useful

Pretty good waist fit, great leg fit, and the material is phenomenal. I don't know if I have to wash them first cuz I haven't worked in them yet, but from waist to the middle of the thigh is really tight and uncomfortable. I got the right fit and everything. Could be just need to be broken in. But they do have some uncomfortable feeling to them

My son loves dickies but why don't you make them for tall thin men? He needs 30x36 and you have nothing available

Very low rise. They should make this fit with a higher rise.

Dickies overall sizing is confusing in any pants. But I wear a 28 in women and thought I'd be safe ordering a 30 in these. I can button them but I should've ordered a 32 or 33 even for them to fit. If you have a normal size butt, these probably aren't for you. Other than that, the color and fabric is nice I just wished I exchanged for the right size before taking tags off.

Well made, waist sized at least an inch small compared to other brands.
