Been wearing 874 Original for many years. Over such a time span, the fabric has changed a little. The 874 Flex fabric is enough like Original that I can't find a difference other than color. The fabric inside the waistband is black instead of white. This black fabric is slick, so shirt tail slides easier. I find no stretch or flexibility difference from Original. Worn once and not yet laudered, so can't say anything yet about durability difference.

In my opinion, the 874 flex are much more comfortable than regular 874's. The belt loops are bigger, making putting on a belt much easier. The thing I'm concerned with is whether or not the knees will last as long since the material seems to be a little softer or lighter weight.

Theses are very well made pants. My 91 year old father in law has been wearing Dickies for many years and loves them. Only problem is they are very hard to find in the stores around here.

they are not true to size. ordered 3 pair all fit differently

Our company has ordered these pants for years but now each order seems to be slightly different in the quality, specifically the dye used.

These were too loose and baggy. Switched to the slim straight and slim tapered and they were much better.

Pants are good quality but the sizing is very inconsistent. You can order pants one time and they fit great and order the exact same size and type of pants again a few months later and they will not fit the same.

Colors fit a little different. Had one pair and ordered two other colors and the two new colors fit a bit smaller.

My husband says that the flexible material is way more comfortable than his other khakis. However, he noticed one of the side seams coming apart the first time he wore them. These were our second attempt at ordering new work pants for him from Dickies. They were to replace a different pair that had the button pop the first time he wore them. I'm disappointed in the quality/workmanship!

Being a bigger guy I don't like the straight men pants. They end up being too baggy when you get size 50 waist. Either way I don't like how it pills. It's not noticable on darker colors but on the khakis they are more noticable.

I've worn Dickies 874 pants for many years and love them. The last two pair I ordered were so big I can hardly wear them. Sizing is terrible. I ordered blue and they fit fine but the gray ones were too big.

The quality and fast delivery were fine, of course. I find sometimes the sizes seem to fluctuate. Ther is no 43 waist so I have gotten 42 before but very tight and 44 is very loose compared to the past 44's I have gotten unless they really shrink when washed (which would be good in my case.) Guess I am losing weight!

I've bought these pants in the past and they fit fine however, my last purchase they were at least 2 sizes too small!!! Dickies definitely needs to step up the quality control! I'll give them one more chance and then I'm out!!!

I've ordered 7 pairs of the 874 flex pants.2 fit perfect in the waist, 1 a little loose, 1 a little snug and 3 too tight to wear. Lacking some in quality control. I didn't return them becuase i hope to lose a little weight in the new year and will be able to fit into them. Of course now I will have to wear a belt with the others, but at least I will be able to wear them.

Fits tight in the waist. Also it's ironic that they're called FLEX because they have almost no give. A very rigid, inflexible pant. That being said, they're nicely constructed.

Pants don't fit to size waist is out at least 2" Pants for well from ankles to around buttocks but not waist

I couldn't tell any difference in my size 48 and the size 50 I bought.

runs a little tight. order one size up from your normal size.

Ordered three pairs. One pair has a spot of white paint on one of the belt loops, guess they were returned and then sent to us.

Although they slightly shrunk upon laundering they quickly form fitted. The length is great and they're not nearly as hot as the competitors' cotton ones.

Needs belt loops closer to hook like the older ones. If the next ones I buy don't have them I'll return them & never buy them again.

These pants are very comfortable i am sure. But they run small and the colors for bigger men are limited.

Material was thin, couldn't stand the abuse of a working job. I also had a bet loop pop on like the 2nd week of ownership. At best these pants are made for casual wear jobs.

If you are in between sizes offered good luck. One size up and I am wearing parachute pants a size down and the waist is too tight.

They just didn't fit, but.... They were the right size's though.
