Customer Reviews Dickies Basic Blended Coveralls

My husband wanted a pair of coveralls for Christmas and these were great because they didn't cost an arm and a leg! He is 6'3" and about 155-160lbs and I ordered him the Large so it would fit comfortably over his clothes. He's got plenty of room in them without them being overly large. Length is also perfect. His only complaint (and mine too) was they smelled terrible! He described it as a plastic type chemical smell.... I described it as chemicals combined with rotting fish! It was really awful! It was enough to stink up the room. Luckily the smell came out after a good wash! Overall they seem good.

I'm 5'7", 235 lbs. (previous weight-lifter, so short and stocky). I bought the 2XL and it works. The quality looks pretty good. Reasonably priced. But it's very difficult to get out of. Particularly the shoulders. I should have gotten a 2 piece instead.

They are good quality fabric and construction. I am 5' 10" and they are very long in the legs and long in the torso.

The sleeves and legs are a bit long but can be fixed with a quick roll. The zipper is also very stiff and can be hard to zip.

I like them but they could be a bit longer in the body. I'm just over 5'10" and 200lb. When I squat in them the XL pair I have are not so comfortable.

Glad to find this color. How well the coveralls work remains to be seen. They haven't been worn/washed/dried yet.

The product is okay. I ordered the wrong style. My husband has worn Dickies work clothes for years. He only likes the deluxe blend style. I should have been more observant. I will have to return this pair

Legs are too long: wish this was offered in a short.

I still have 4 stars because Dickies has never done my husband wrong, but we did have to return them. Usually he wears a 54 in dickie pants, so decided to get a 3xlt but they didn't fit. They were maybe 2 inches too small. Sized up to the 4xl and it worked out great. Good quality and tough material.

Well made, and we know our dad will love them. Great Overalls. Glad they arrived in time.

Good product, with heavy seams and fabric. Legs are a little tight on me, but they'll work fine. Perfect for a cool day or working around the shop. Decent price on sale. Leg bottoms are a little small for some non-lace work boot tops, like Ariat or Justin pull ons. Zipper appears heavy and should hold up well.

I ordered a small regular. This item is a little too long if the person is 5'8" or shorter.

These are good quality I have wore them once I use them to crawl Nader houses and such and they are roomy and seem to be tough made so far, four stars as I don't know their quality long term as I have worn and washed once at this point but absolutely no complaints so far.

The size xl r is very tight in the chest and loosely in the seat, this is my second order. I am going to return my second order and keep the first. My first is the 2xl T. The 2xl T is too large in the seat and maybe 2 inches too long in the legs so I will have to get it altered. Still waiting for return slip.

Everything was good but the waist is too tapered need to be looser

I'm retired and wear these every day through the winter. Collar really needs something in the top to keep them from turning up when washed. Need more color choice

First of this is for those like me that use reviews honestly to help those out like me who go to the reviews lol. #1. I ordered a large size and Regular length. I'm 5' 9" about 170ish. Large is the size for my frame but I do have long arms and the sleeves were halfway on my hands so I gotta use cuff clips or roll them up. I prefer my cuffs to be secure. #2. It fits comfortable around the shoulders, waist and legs when it's on. A little mobility is taken away when you put arms straight up, but i expected that . When I squat the seem in the crotch takes away a decent amount of squating mobility to me because that's just the way it's designed I guess?? I've seen this in the reviews so it's something forsure to consider as a potential buyer. For me I need more slack in the under part when I bend down and picking any length size over regular would be too long for my body based on the length of the pantlegs and sleeves. About half bend knee and you feel the jumpsuit issue I experience riding on my butt(if your around or my body size). I hope they break in cuz they're new and I dont want to put extra stress on my knees and back because of a issue with the crotch seem. It needs to be more flexible so when you crouch you shouldn't feel that thing pulling up on your junk until you all the way crouched in my opinion. It sounds like I need a larger length but trust me that's not it, its the way they made the seem from the back and at the gooch.(sorry best way to describe the location) 3#. I havent worn it for anything yet. just tried it on to see if it fit and hung it up . Like I said I'm a honest reviewer so I'm not blowing any smoke lol 4#overall i think it's a good buy. I wanted one and i went with brand recognition instead of a wildcard.. I'm hoping I don't have to succumb to rashy crotch when I do end up using it regularly standing up and crouching constantly. Having that thing ride on your junk all day ain't gunna make a happy camper, so ima chalk that issue up to it's not broken in yet. If I see it's a serious problem i will come back and write a updated review after I put it thru the ringer. Also i think it comes with a lifetime guarantee so that's a major plus. #5 I would give this so far 3.7 out of 5. Nothing lower but nothing higher so far. Untill i can try it. Cant give it a higher review because I havent worn it but I cant make it any lower because the material is great fabric,

I received my order today. They'll work... kind of. But I'm back to order the next size up. Original was XL-Tall and new order is XXL-Tall. On the new order I'm going with the Deluxe model, though. I think I'll use those for a long time. I can wear these (well, assuming they don't shrink when they come out of the wash in a bit), but they're tight around the middle. Driving around, I'll need to unzip it to be very comfortable. Zipper sticks a bit out of the box. I'll use some soap on it after the laundry is done, as that usually helps a sticky brass zipper.

Fit better than similar coveralls. Very comfortable. I would like to see a breast pocket that would hold the new size of IPhone/Samsung without falling out when you bend over to pick stuff up.

medium size too small on top and too long on bottom for me 5'9, 165. product seemed very well constructed and durable. both shipping and return seamless.

I bought these for our shop to use when working on our semis.

Size fits true, durable material. The only thing is by both side pockets there are slat openings. This will allow dirt to get into if it is used for underground things. I will have to sew these openings closed.

My husband is 6 foot 2 and 250 pounds and a 4X usually just fits, this he has lots of room!!

Good fit and good looks. Colleagues at work like it. Don't blame me if you have a spike in sales.
