Perfect for really gnarly feet

After reading all the hype about Oofos, I purchase a pair of clogs. Sadly, I am not impressed. The arch area is very very hard. It feels like a golf ball was molded into rubber. They are the first pair of shoes that I have worn that made my arches hurt. I suffer from midfoot arthritis and these shoes made the pain worse. I think that was due to the hard arches pressing into my arches. One other issue, that some may not like, your feet can't simply slide into the clog. The rubber material prevents that from happen. It's better when a thin sock is worn; which I am fine with, but the rubber makes my socks slide backwards causing them to pull up on my toes (as if I had small socks on). With out socks your feet will be clammy... again the sock helps with that. In my opinion, for a shoe molded from rubber, these are nothing special & they are over priced. However, many reviewers love them, while very few dislike them. If interested, give them a try. You have nothing to lose when ordering from Zappos.

Hi, Although each left and right shoe were both labeled as size 38/7.5. The left shoe was several inches longer than the right. The right shoe was super comfy and fit perfectly, the left however was too big. Since I do not know which sizing (the left or right shoe) is the true sizing, I am returning the shoes and will opt to look for another brand to try out.
