I cannot comment on using this product as I couldn't even get them on...they were too narrow and the top of the shoe was cut too high with no give. People with wide feet usually have "fat" feet too so this was not a good choice for me.

I can get away with buying a Medium fit in most shoes. They didn't have a Medium in my size so I went with Wide. I could barely get my feet in there. It was so tight, it felt like a shoe straitjacket! You better have narrow dainty feet if you want to buy these.
