I could have probably done with a normal width, but because of the design, the strap keeps my foot in place just fine.

I'm a keen walker and prefer sandals to trainers in Summer. These are perfect for that, you feel like you're walking on air. My feet tend to sweat when I'm active, especially in hot weather and the rubber footbed did get a little damp and sticky, but I'm more than happy to put up with that for the extreme comfort.

This sandal is lightweight and very comfortable for fitness walking in a neighborhood (urban/suburban). i'm a big fitness walker (3-5 miles 5-6x week) but have a moderate degree of arthritis in my big toe that was making my daily walk less enjoyable. These sandals aren't a miracle but they do cushion my feet far better than shoes I've had that were twice the price. I gave it 4 stars overall simply because the ankle straps are on the short side. Minus that point, it is definitely a 5 star walking sandal!

I wear them all the time during warm weather. I wear them to theme parks because they are so comfortable. My work requires a lot of walking and I have foot issues. These are the only sandal type shoes I can wear. I did like the first bubble type bottom offered. The new one can be slippery

This Skechers, size 12 SANDAL, is just to small for me, now returned. Some brands, like Walking Cradles, Trotters, Softwalk, and maybe Clarks, make size 12 SANDAL that is NOT TOO SHORT or too narrow for me. Most REGULAR SHOES I wear are size 13 NARROW.
I'd also recommend:

They are beautiful but the toe straps is very tight. I had to give one pair to my daughter who has a smaller foot. Loved the look and the cushioning.

Have had 2 pairs previously which are so comfortable & great for wide fit. This new pair are slightly tighter & the straps are shorter round the ankles

Brought these sandals as I found trainers were hurting my feet and too hot when out walking. They are so comfortable and will definitely buy again.
