I wear a size 7. 5 hiking boot and got size medium socks. They fit perfectly, and didn't move during an 8-mile hike. My feet stayed warm in temps below 20, and I love that these socks are able to wick moisture so well - my feet stayed dry all day too! Would definitely recommend these socks.

I usually don't spend this much for socks but I will definitely be purchasing more. These are so comfortable and well made. They are the perfect weight for my walking shoes, comfortable without too much bulk. They keep my feet warm without sweating. We will see over time how they hold up. I'm going to follow the washing suggestions because I want these socks to last. They are an investment but I think they will be worth it. They are a good looking sock too.

My favorite Darn Tough socks yet. The color scheme is sweet and healthy. One might say cheerful. I love the height and the warmth. They fit me perfectly. I could wear them almost every day.

Wasn't sure I would like the mid weight as I was used to the light, but it's not too thick and great for boots!

I love these socks! My husband and I went to Quebec City the first week of December and walked all around the Old city. It was cold, but I had these socks and some hiking boots on. Amazingly, my feet were not cold!! . . . and I'm always cold!!!

This is the first pair of Merino wool socks that I have purchased for my wife. Now mind you, my wife has always worn cotton socks always ankle high, tops, mostly non-show not to mention cotton. I just wanted to let you know that she is now a firm believer in Merino wool Darn Tough socks. You have one more customer for life to add to the list. Best socks ever! Comfy, warm, stylish, and snug as a bug on my feet.

This is my third pair! I love the extra warmth of these socks. They're perfect for hiking in cooler temps. I also attend an exercise class where we take off our shoes and these socks help keep my toesies warm (I live at 8K feet so it's chilly in the winter!).

As a senior lady hiker, my old bones and feet need excellent socks!! I hike regularly in my local hills. Mid-weight density, mid calf is perfect. For camping hiking I also have heavier weight. These socks are comfortable, protect my feet and legsand since they are merlino wool I just lay them out and they are as fresh as needed for more hiking! Some of my hiking socks are years old and still are as good as new! I love that there is good selection of colors/designs. I may be oldbut still rockin it on the trails. I love these socks. They have the perfect amount of cushion. They also never stretch out!! Even after days of use and not washing. They are also my only sock I can wear and wash in cold water and never dry and they still dont stretch out!
