I bought the Women's Hiker Boot Midweight hiking socks because I already had a pair like them in a lighter blue. Unfortunately, you were sold out of the lighter blue. The dark blue color is nice, too. This sock is the perfect height for my boots and still leaves enough room for ticks not to get in my boot. The socks are soft, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I wear them for hiking, cross-country skiing, walking, or around the house. Your full cushion helps to make my bunions and Achillies's heel hurt less. I know the durability of these socks is great because of how lo ng I've had my other pair that is just a lighter color.

The padding is what I wanted for my wife , daughters, niece and sister in law. They are professional women and on feet for extended times and they love the Darn Tough socks for the looks , and durability they have come to like.every Christmas these ladies look forward to gifted Darn Tough socks.

Comfy, warm, perfect density.

These are great socks. They're padded in the right places and usually I feel some irritation when walking long distance. In these sock I have not. Don't know how much wear they'll take before they lose that padding but after 2 weeks and having worn both pairs several times and washed both in cold water it's looking good.
