These are my first Darn Tough socks. Ive had Smartwool, REI, and Amazon merino wool socks in the past but my friend recommended these. The Darn Tough are some of the best Ive ever worn. I bought the standard lightweight socks for the office. They are nice and comfortable. I also bought a John Henry work sock which Im wearing more now in January.

Very comfortable. Ill be trying out the different styles. No going back now!

As Ive aged I watched and experienced my foot widening. My shoe choices have lessened as the width requirements have increased. Your socks are the perfect fit every time. No compression of the toes.

I've never been one to write reviews (how likely are you to recommend pumping gas at our station?). I find them usually self serving (just saw your questions... oops!) But I did wind up talking to some friends about my Darn Tough socks. I'm always pleased when I pull a pair out of the sock drawer, instead of my others. My other socks feel like I'm wearing paper by comparison. So why do a review now? Because I plan on buying more of your socks!

They fit well. I have wide feet, they are a bit on the narrow feeling side.

So I read several reviews that recommended these wool socks. I was a bit leary as wool is sometimes scratchy, but the merino wool slacks I had were nice. So - I ordered these. They are great! In particular the light padding on the soles are just really nice - nothing else quite like it. I like the environmental aspect of it - not having to do as much laundry. I will be acquiring some more as my other (cotton) socks give out!

I love these socks so much that I am going to buy another 6 pair! They are very comfortable!

Good sock

The only sock my husband wears. He has 7 pairs so he doesnt have to match pairs, they are all black.

So I needed to order a replacement sock under warranty and decided to branch out a bit and try a different sock. I ordered these because my usual boot sock is a bit bulky and not great for every occasion (even though I do love them!) This was my first wearing, so no long term comments. But at first wearing and even checking out the construction, they are well made, having the usual quality I would expect from Darn Tough, but sleek enough for a night on the town. The fit was great, they are light and yet warm and the bottoms have a lot of resilience built into them. I really like them and will be curious how they wear over the years. But I would highly recommend them. They may be a bit more expensive, but these will be the last socks you will buy with a lifetime warranty, so well worth it. I am continuing to stock my sock drawer with more and more Darn Tough socks!

I've gone through a few other brands that are well known, but they didn't hold up, i.e. holes in the heels. These are much better, and the company stands by its product.

My feet have to carry me through life. As such, I treat them with the care and respect they deserve, and that includes buying the best socks and footwear I can afford. Its not quantity, but quality. Darn Tough socks tick all the boxes: Merino comfort, quality construction, and durability, all made in the USA . And with their guarantee, its all covered. Rest easy.

Love them, had know idea they would be this good.
