I've worn merino wool socks for many years now from a competitor brand. Darn Tough's socks feel significantly durable in material and the fit feels super snug. My feet run hot and tend to sweat a lot and feel these are still too thick for everyday use in warmer weather. I will try the thinner liner socks next and compare.

These were a replacement for old worn Nike Elite socks that has been falling apart as I wore them. The light weight moisture wicking sock is another level. Expensive but worth it.

Our son was stationed in Iraq and most of the soldiers he was stationed with wore Darn Tough Socks. He had two pairs with holes in them but was unable to send them back. I was very skeptical of not needing to wash these after a single wear, but yeah, they really do a good job fighting odor. I've only had them about a month so far, but I really do love them. They do a much better job at keeping my feet warm compared to anything else I've ever used.

The socks are quite comfortable and feel durable. I am not a huge fan of the cushion, but I can see how some people might like it. I noticed that the socks started pilling after a few washes, which is unfortunate, but doesnt affect the comfort or the look that much. My feet are right in between of M and L size based on the chart, and while L are definitely too big, size M feel quite snug. However, even though they are quite tight around the foot, the toe area feels quite spacious.

Fantastic sock with the right balance of cushion and weight you could where this sock normal everyday or on a long hike with great amount of comfort.

Undersized, stockinglike. Should have read the overall composition label better, really felt like what I think wearing nylons would be like. Severely undersized for an 11.5 male foot size. Material appears to be strong, very see-through though.
