These are the only socks I will wear on long dayhikes. Inner liners are not needed, and I have never had a blister with them. They stay warm and comfortable even when hiking through running streams.

I purchased my first pair of darn tough socks at least 15 years ago and have purchased 4-5 other pairs since. The first pair finally wore out and I returned them and got credit towards a new pair. They truly are the most durable socks I own. I use them primarily for hiking or doing yard work and probably wore my original pair about 25 times a year or more. If you want a comfortable and extremely durable sock for outdoor use get Darn Tough socks. Made in the USA as well.

My third pair of Darn Tough socks. Not because the others wore out, but because the ones that weren't darn tough have. I'll probably have my entire sock wardrobe consisting of darn tough socks once the other brands wear out... These socks stay in place while not feeling tight. I can pull up my socks slide my feet into my boots in the morning and when I remove my boot at the end of the day the socks have not moved and my feet feel dry. They fit like a glove and because of that my boots feel much better on my feet. So if you're reading this review to figure out whether or not you should buy any... I'll just say your feet will appreciate it, trust me

I have worn them once and they fit well and I like them so far! They seem really well made and tough. I have narrow feet and they hug my feet comfortably.
