Not as heavy duty as I hoped.

I love my Darn Tough socks! Not too thick for my wide feet but still keep me warm. And of course the life time warranty!

Love these socks. Very comfortable. Fits great. Finish is stylish. Ample cushion. Wear them to work, gym, wherever. Bought a second pair the same type. Will buy another in the future.

Love Darn Tough socks. They are all I have worn for years. Always fit great and warm in winter and cool in summer. Have never worn out a pair but maybe someday!

These are great but they are thick even though they are "mid". I always prefer to go with lightweights, and if needed carry the heavier socks. You have to really have no insulation or fabric from your shoes to wear midweight and in cold temperatures I think. But being thick they are very comfy even if just for lounging. They will add some width to your shoes so these are probably more ideal with you are willing to size up a half size.

I had previously been a fan of the micro crew light hiker sock; however, we do some Midwest winter hiking, so I thought a slightly thicker sock may come in handy. The midweight hikers do not disappoint! I love these socks so much that I wear them around the house and to work (and of course, hiking).

My new socks are great. The material that they are made of has a completely different feel than my old pairs!They can stretch out with ease. My old socks are seven years old and still in good shape. Im an ardent hiker good boots and socks are important.

Fit great

These have been my go- to Darn Tough socks for years. The cut and weight are perfect for my foot and the shoes I wear for 3/4 of the year. In the winter I switch to heavy weights, which are perfect for my locale and the boots I wear. Not only do I find Darn Toughs to be the best socks I've ever worn, but so do most of my friends and relatives who look forward to getting socks for Christmas
