Though these socks are thinner than I'm used to wearing in winter, they are more comfortable and equally warm as my thickest pair of Smart Wool socks. You really can't go wrong with Darn Tough and their lifetime guarantee.

These breath and keep your feet warm, the full cushion is very nice too. They will shrink a wee bit over time.

I have been using only Darn Tough socks ( 1405s) for 12 years. They are hands down th best sock I have ever worn, summer or winter. Yes! Summer! Your feet stay dry and comfortable! I am now branching out to others. I use the 1405 full cushion, but have just gotten these "cushion"- ( not full cushion) and love them. Customer service, over 12 years, has been consistent and impeccable! Size 10- I use Large.

The quality of these socks has never disappointed me. They are by far the best. The cost is a little high, but the warranty out ways it.

Comfortable and plenty of cushion. Foot length is fine but they're somewhat difficult to put on due to my wide feet. Would prefer more elasticity across the width of the sock.
