Newer Darn Tough socks are narrower than the older ones. Some who have posted on the internet suggest sizing up. That helps a little bit, but not enough. They are not for wear-all-day.

The world is fulll of mediocre products. This is not one of those. Forget wat you thought you knew about plain ole socks. These are sturdily superior. B1C1!!(Buy once, cry once) life is too short for chatty socks.

Best socks I have ever owned. I am a cowboy boot aficionado and I needed some socks with better cushion for my feet. I ordered three different pair of socks to try. The Full cushion hiking sock, the mid weight hiking sock, and a pair of over the calf western socks. it was great to be able to try different pairs to see which work best for me. I found that the Over The Calf Western socks worked best for me. I decided to return the two pair of hiking socks. the return process is hassle free. Simply call Darn Tough Vermont and they emailed me a return label. The quality of all the socks I tried was excellent. However the customer service folks are truly exceptional. Customer service was very helpful in offering advice of which style of socks would work best for me since I was using them for cowboy boots.

Absolutely amazing sock! I've been describing to people it feels like my feet are floating in my boots. And the fact that they last a couple days with no odor is insane. I am a construction worker and go to the gym and it took two days for the smell to change. Incredible. Highly recommend

These socks are the absolute best you can buy. If you hike and spend a lot of time wearing boots do your feet a favor and buy a pair.

Just about perfect

So glad I got the size medium, because even though I wear an 11.5 shoe, large socks place the heel cup at my Achilles tendon while the medium fits perfectly. Very comfortable and I like the medium cushioning over the lightweight, feels better on the feet.
