I have tried other brands of hiking socks, but none compare to Darn Tough. I own 15 pairs of their various socks, and have worn them for over 10 years. The warranty is rock solid, as I have never experienced any issues when needing to return a pair. Several of my hiking friends have balked at the price until I buy them a pair to try. Once they try them they confirm what I have told them about how great these socks really are. My son recently moved to South Dakota for a job, and I sent him three pairs for Christmas. After wearing them through the winter, he proclaims that they are the warmest socks he has ever worn.

I just got these socks a few months ago but Im really enjoying them so far. Theyre really comfortable and durable and the fit is perfect. Ill probably get a few more pairs soon.

I bought them for my husband who is hard to please. Hes got big calluses on both of balls of his feet and his usual socks have holes there from friction. So far this new pairs of socks have been withstanding. He likes the warmth and cushioning also.

In short, awesome. Perfect length for higher hiking boots. My boots are insulated so they tend to get a little hot but these socks keep my feet dry. And with the extra cushion they are super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Highest quality socks

I wear these socks around the house on cold winter days. Its my version of being socked in cold weather.

Great quality socks. They are right when they say you can wear them multiple times without getting smelly. Saves me a lot of washing! The midweight is good for winter use in New England (my feet tend to get hot).

Warm and well-padded socks, great for winters indoors or out hiking.

Love Darn Tough socks. They are the only socks I wear. Excellent quality and they last a long time.

I bought several pair of the same color and style and wear them daily for my 5-8 mile hikes. They hold up great and make the miles go by in total comfort. No blisters after 9 years of daily walking.

Excellent product with great service

I always used the hiker boot full cushion it's either 1403 or 1405, and they helped alot with foot pain. Just got these Mountaineering heavyweight cushion and I immediately notice the improvement over the hiking boot socks. Much better cushioning and padding for my feet. Foot comfort is way up and foot pain is minimal, wow big improvement. I'm getting few more pairs right now.

As always an excellent product. I wear size 12 and some of my Darn Tough socks were feeling tight so I ordered XL (12.5-14.5) they are little loose but not so much they bunch up.

I like them a lot , but they are taller on my calve than my previous Darn Tough socks. Which I was not expecting. I thought they would be the same or similar as my old socks when making my comparison prior to my selection of my new socks.

Great comfort and quality!

Eight years ago I switched to wearing these socks and only these socks. I have seven pairs of them and just rotate through. They are in excellent condition and I would highly recommend them.
