I chose these due to their high merino wool content. Theyre very warm, with the perfect amount of cushion for wearing with boots. These will be the only socks Ill need all winter! Also, I got these with the warranty program. Some folks complain about having to pay shipping to get the old socks back to Darn Tough, but I think thats just fine! Such a small thing, to get new socks to replace old worn out ones! My Darn Tough socks usually last around 4 years, which is much longer than any other wool socks Ive had.

I bought two pairs of these to see if they were worth the hype. Wow. I don't want to wear any other socks any more - in fact, I hardly do. I wear these two pairs for days on end without wash and they remain comfortable and odor-free. I wash them after maybe 10 wears. Amazing!

These socks were a gift to a distant friend who is an avid hiker. While I cannot personally comment on quality, etc., allow me to say this; I do not gift garbage.

I haven't had the socks long enough to comment on their longevity but the quality is evident and those I've had a couple years still lookalike new.

Nice socks so far. No problems. Originally purchased a large (9-12) through Amazon which usually fits, but were to tight. So I sent back and reordered directly from you guys an XL, and they fit perfect. So I would say they run a little small.

These are the only socks I wear. I do a fair bit of long term travel and only bring one pair, hand wash as needed ready for the next day. They are so versatile, merino wool makes them comfortable in hot weather or cold. I literally never take them off except to wash. Other socks do not last very long under these conditions but these go the distance.

It isnt as cold yet to wear this but just trying them on with a pair of boots was great. Most comfortable socks I ever wore. I bought a pair from many different types, like lifestyle, running, hiking etc, and theyre all very good. I have already ordered more.
