Great socks thatll be around fora good long time. I wore these to the gym for a week before I put them in the washer, and there was no smell. I like the fact theyre not cushioned. I have a cushioned pair, also 1/4 socks, and prefer having more sensation on the bottom of my feet. Ill definitely be buying a few more pairs. Want to try the micro crew size. These socks grip your feet and legs. Theyre worth waiting for, though shipping is slow with a combination of using DHL and the Post Office.

Ive been running for years in socks advertising wicking ability? So I took a chance on this quarter lightweight sock and found an amazing improvement on comfort and breathable knitting. Im sold!

I have a big foot and Ive always gotten XL from Darn Tough, this particular model seem to run big because theyre somewhat baggy on me. I washed and dried them but theyre still big. Additionally the stitching in the heel and toe dont create a round, form fitting sock, theres a strange squareness to them. I love the color and thickness of the sock, I hope theyll fit better over time.

These are my absolute fave socks! I have five pair and use them for everything from running to pickleball to biking to walking. Comfy, durable and sharp looking too. They are Darn Tough!

Full disclosure, this a free pair due to my previous pair ripping open, when i put them on. I really like the look of these socks, and they feel good and snug, which is my one issue with them, I find that I have to fiddle with them , to get them fitted right. besides that a really good sock.

The comfort and feel of the mens 1715 quarter is amazing. Im a runner training for a marathon. Running 50 miles a week in Florida heat I needed a sock for cushion, sweat absorption, and strength - I think I found the perfect fit in the 1715 quarter. Ive always ran in a low cut ankle sock - I dont think I will be going back after running in the 1715 quarter highly recommend this sock - I will purchase again.

fit is a bit to tight for my liking.

Darn Good

I have bought XL before and they fit great. These are marked XL and the place where your heal goes is up my ankle a ways. They even look like they are XXL. There is no answer for How do they fit below...too long.

So far so good. I use them for climbing. They are not too thick to fit in my climbing shoes. The wool prevents odor. These replaced an ultra-lightweight pair that failed in the ankle, probably because of my feet. DT replaced the others without issue and I suspect that this thicker version will last much longer.

Excellent socks. Sturdier than the ultra-lightweight but thinner than the crew running or hiking socks.

Excellent socks! They were obtained through the DT lifetime warranty from a pair I purchased (and wore out to thin and thread bare) when I was up on the Church Street Mall in Burlington over a decade ago hiking the Greens. DT replaced as their promise states. Outstanding socks and company!

Great sock for any occasion.

One of my favorite pairs of Darn Toughs. A good everyday style that's not too tall and not too hot. Love the warranty of course. I only wish they made an all-white pair.
