The boots started tearing where the leather meets the other material on the bottom just from wearing in the house, poor design. Sent back immediately.

I am so glad Timberland came out with these boots. I remember them from childhood. I was never able to afford them back when I was in school but all the popular kids had them. Now that I'm an adult......I have the safety toe and soft toe

Overall this is a well made boot. However, I do not like the way it laces. I can never get them stay tight. Also, the top of the boot cuts into the top of my foot. I need to wear socks because these boots do not protect you from the cold. However, they are comfortable, fit true to size and look great. I would return them, but I have alrea worn them and scuffed them up a little.

wear it to work only. Bought first pair, and after 3 days, noticed it was ripping where the leather meets the canvas material, took them back and exchanged for same boot. After about a month and half noticed they were ripping in the same spot. the store I got them from won't take them back, so I'm stuck with them. Won't buy them again.

I bought these boots for commuting to work, as I am a mobile personal trainer who travels close distance through out the day. I am familiar with the eurohiker, so I tried the eurohiker pro as an alternative. I wore the boots four times- as the nylon seems began to stred from walking. I then sent back the boots to Timberland, as they told me they were out of warrenty, as I did not send them back as soon as I had a problem with them- however, the item was returned in a 12 month period. I'll be glad to provide pictures to anyone who'd like to see what these boots look like after 4 walks to work. Disappointed from a brand who bases their products around quality.

Day 3 of wearing this boot the seams busted out and continued to shred for a month till they were trash. Tryed to get them warranted with TimberLands 12 month warranty and they sent them back saying it's been over the 12 months after wearing them for 3. Had a receipt sent with boots to prove it.

I'm a service technician, I purchased these boots in the spring. Returned em within a month, tearing. Easily got another pair at the store, tearing again. I figured I'd get the summer out of em and let em go. Definitely never purchasing these again

I've only had them a few weeks but they're the most comfortable boots I've owned. Can't wait to see what they're like this winter.

Here is why I was compelled to post this review so expeditiously. After I ordered this boot, I checked the negative reviews. I know I should have done that first, but luckily I didn't. The reviewer showed pictures of the synthetic fiber mesh fraying after it was dislodged from the threading. I was concerned that maybe the area needed more reinforcement. So I was thinking maybe since I already ordered, I could use something like E6000 or E7000 clear waterproof glue to hold the fiber mesh better. The idea comes from using heat shrink or tape to hold together ropes made of synthetic fibers. Anyway, after I received my boots I learned something that did not make any sense. How in the world did this person bend the shoes at the ball of their feet? Because I believe the boot was design to be stiff like a PRO work boot and required the boot wearer to roll their feet forward through their steps. Pretty much, I attribute the failure of construction to improper use of the boot. Don't do what they did, then you can avoid their problem and understand mine. Here is my problem. But let me preface this by explaining the reason why I bought this boot. Man, polar vortex is no laughing matter; it's a serious pain. And now to the problem. Timberland makes stuff too good and the thing lasts way too long and way past the fashionable style expiration due date [period]. I gave away my last pair of Tims to charity. And just my luck that style came back. But you never know these things. I can name so many things that did not come back. Unfortunately I have to reveal my age to do that so I'll pass.

I have warn out several pair of Timberland Pro work boots. They have been the best for my planter fasciitis. This is the first of this Euro Hiker. I hope they will hold up to the work abuse the same. After a week or wearing they are just as comfortable and supportive.

These were purchased by me, for my boyfriend. Here's what he had to say.... I love how well they fit and the durability it excellent. I wish they were a little bit lighter, weight-wise. I have a bum leg and by the end of the day even my socks feel heavy on my feet... lol.
