I have a very wide foot. The Gem Dream fit perfectly (doesn’t come in widths), so if you have a narrow foot this may not be the shoe for you. I *love* this shoe! Wore it around the house for about 30 min. when it arrived on Friday. And today I wore it all day at a dog show. Beautifully supportive footbed (as one always expects from Algeria), lightweight enough to run easily in and super comfy. This is the first truly comfortable yet very supportive Mary Jane I’ve ever found... and I’ve tried TONS over the years.

The color and style was just what I was looking for but I have to return them. I wear 8 1/2 and I ordered a size 39. My toes hit the end and it was uncomfortable. The heel fit fine and was actually a bit loose. If I ordered a size larger their would be too much room in the heel. I do not have a narrow foot, I wear a medium width

Found this shoe incredibly lightweight and comfortable. Sadly, the shape of the toe box was too narrow for me.

I love the look and feel of this shoe. Alegria always provides just the right amount of suppport I need plus the extra room at the toe to provide for having had a Morton’s Neuroma removed and a bunion. The problem is that it seems like every style of shoe is different and I have to order several times in several different sizes to find the right fit. I live in rural Vermont, so ordering on line is the only way to try shoes on. Zappos has such an easy return policy, but I feel like the “return police” maybe watching for me! Having said that, this style is one of the most comfortable to me. I wear a size 7, but because of my bunion and aging arthritic feet, I have to get an 8 in some styles. So, first I ordered a 38. It fit great on my foot with the bunion, but flopped around on the foot without. I got the 37 and it did fit just right; I just never know from one style to the next. The shoe has enough stretch at the top to allow for a bunion and the Velcro straps make it easy to adjust the fit-which should be a little tighter on the other foot. I really love this shoe. It’s comfortable enough to wear all day.

Right out of the box these shoes felt awesome. I have wide forefoot and high instep. The toe box is roomy enough without being too big. I seldom find a shoe with a higher arch but this shoe fits the bill. The strap goes above my instep so no problems there. Someone asked about slip resistance. These shoes are absolutely slip resistance. I was spraying down my shower and forgot I had these shoes on! Three months ago I stepped out of the shower and slipped hitting my head so hard on the floor that it actually bounced. Severe concussion! No slipping yesterday. I have gotten a ton of compliments on these shoes. I am going to order them in another color. FYI..I wore these shoes for eight hours straight the day I got them. So comfortable!!

I have been wearing Alegria shoes for several years- all styles. They are the only shoes that provide comfort after having foot surgery. The new DreamFit are wonderful. I was skeptical about wearing a more flexible shoe but with Alegria’s Ergonomic footbed and wide toe box I found no problem. I love them. It is good to have another style option that feels great.

I wear these for my restaurant job, which requires that I’m on my feet for 5-8 hours a day with no breaks and my feet and back don’t hurt after a shift. They aren’t as “slip resistant” as they could be, but it’s not as much an issue as the comfort. So so so comfy and they look super cute as well!

Sizing for various Alegria shoes differs. For instance an 8-1/2 US can show up as 38 or 39 EUR. Once you get the right size though, the shoes are a dream. The red and pink Gem Dream is a valentine for the feet. They are light (a big plus), have great traction, and the regular accommodates a wide foot, even bunions. Very comfortable, very pleased.

I got received these shoes on Christmas Eve and I was so excited. I ordered two pair just in case they fit. Purchased both the black and the color called Cosmos(blue). First let me say these shoes are adorable! I absolutely love the entire shoe. Reminds you of the shoes you always wanted as a child but couldn't afford! I normally wear a 9 Wide and even a WW or one foot. I ordered these in the 39 which is suppose to be 9-9 1/2. As far the length they fit perfect and to my amazement the width was perfect on my wide foot and workable with my WW foot. They also give you a thin shim that you can add or remove to help your shoes fit looser or tighter. They look fantastic on too because I think they make your foot look shorter because of the toe cap. Sadly I have to return these shoes but it isn't because of the shoe. My problem is that because of some toe issues I have to have a deeper toe box and this toe box just wasn't quite deep enough. The joints in my big toes are hyper flexed which means my big toe tips tilt upward more than normal. This makes it necessary to have a DEEP toe box even though I don't really need it for my other toes. I was just sick about it because I loved these shoes and would have purchased every color!

I normally wear at 9 or 39 but my toes hit the end. I love these shoes which cam be dressed up or down. They felt really comfortable so I have ordered a 40. I have trouble with balance. These make me feel more secure while still looking dressy.

Excellent shoe for me! Light and comfortable and no break in time needed. I have it red and black and love them both. The red is quite whimsical and the black more low key. So pleased- as comfortable as a shoe can be...

Style is as cute as a button. I wear a standard Size 9 and rarely ever have a problem with shoes ordered online; however, the Size 39 (US Women's 9 - 9.5) was a tad too small. I returned it and ordered Size 40 (US Women's 10), which fits just fine. Again, it's adorable and merits the high reviews.

I usually wear a size 5.5 medium-wide shoe, but in Alegria I wear a size 5 (35). The Gem Dream Fit size 5 is true to size, compared to my other Alegria shoes. The toe box is not as wide as the Belle, which is my favorite Alegria shoe, but everything worked for me. My Gem was well constructed, comfortable, and pretty.

I either wear a 40 or 41 in Alegria shoes. The 40 in this shoe was too short, returning for a 41.

I liked these right away. They're comfortable and I keep them on when I would usually change them out for flip flops or slippers. They are a little bit small almost imperceptibly but my right big toenail is hitting the top of the shoe, even after I clipped it short. Forgive my mentioning toenails but for detail I thought it was kind of important. Also my right foot is the bigger one. I'm on the site right now though, to buy another pair. I'm going to keep these as I think the slight discomfort will go away, the shoes are brand new but feel flexible. Other than that they fit perfectly on my size 6-6 1/2 foot. But I think I'll get a 7-71/2 this time so that I can wear them with socks. Adorable shoe, really foot enhancing.

My elderly mom loves these shoes in red & wears them all the time. The only drawback came after 2 weeks when the buckle piece fell off. We exchanged the shoes & are good to go again. Thanks Zappos!

Very comfortable shoe, but a bit too casual for what I wanted. I purchased it in red and may reorder in black or denim since I would wear strictly as a comfortable casual walking shoe.

I love this shoe. They were comfortable right out of the box. With socks, w/o socks, does not matter. I am especially fond of the bigger toe box, since I have issues. It dresses up and down with ease. Nothing more I could ask for. Just a great shoe.

Nice Mary Jane. I like the fit and the more rounded toe just runs a 1/2 smaller than other styles of Alegria I have previously purchased. Will reorder to size up.

Great shoe. Very comfortable right out of the box. Light weight. I read some of the previous reviews and went a half size up and that was perfect. My favorite part is a) the wide toe box and b) the light weight of the shoe. Thumbs way up.

I love the style of this shoe. It’s pretty comfortable, but would not be comfortable without the inserts. They run large, so I had to try a couple sizes to find the right one. I wear a 7.5, but I have to get a larger size 8n so many Alegria styles. Not this one. They also run a little wide when Chris perfect if you have wide feet or foot problems that cause w De feet. I had a Morton’s Neuroma removed from one foot which causes me to have to have wide sizes, so I love these.

I absolutely love this style, but it's a bit tricky getting the right size. I normally wear a 7, but if I order a 37, it's usually too small in Alegria. This time, when I ordered the 38--it was definitely too large. There's plenty of room in the toe and on the top of my foot to make room for a bunion, but the other foot that's relatively fine other than arthritis had the back of it flapping up and down. I would have gotten a blister if I'd continued to wear them. They're just too big on one foot and fine on the other. So, I'm returning these and have already ordered another size which I'm hoping will be "just right."

These are so comfortable. Very thick, bouncy, squishy insoles; can wear these all day long.

Soles not as supportive as “Paloma” style, but still good. Length shorter than earlier “Gem” styles, so have to order longer size. Width is wide enough for my wide to double wide problem foot.

I really wanted these shoes. I have many Alegria shoes in a size 38. These were too short, and my toes touched the end. However, a 39 was way too big.
