Comfortable Shoe

My purchase was for my father's 80th birthday.. He absolutely LOVES Florsheim shoes...He wore them for work for 50 years and now for everyday..He says they are the best fitting shoe he has ever worn and there should not be another shoe company out there selling shoes. He thanks them for having his size 9 1/2 D Wide and wants me to get the navy ones now...Thank you Florsheim

Fits like a new glove, immediately as comfortable as my old favorite shoes. Well made, and a perfect as a new golf ball out of the sleeve.

I use these shoes primarily when driving a car with a manual transmission; given that you have two feet managing three pedals, you don't want anything overtly bulky impeding safe manipulation of the pedals, ruling out hiking boots and sneakers. The sole has decent grip, so that I don't lose control of the clutch pedal, and heel and toe is easy to do. Add to that, it would look great paired with jeans or a suit. Not so much with a tux.

I like the quality of your shoes

solid value; style coordinates with a wide range of clothing. Shoes have definitely "stretched" a little after a few wearings, so are now a bit looser than I'd prefer. Admittedly, I have flat feet, so loafer type shoes can be difficult to fit, but the gores on these keep them from gapping.
