Love this shoe. Came back and got the black pair as well. Super sharp. Lots of compliments at work.

I have wide feet so it is very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes for formal occasions. These are actually quite comfortable and wide. The unique strap is a big hit at the office too! Leather shoes could always be more comfortable but I recommend these shoes if you suffer from wide feet.

It takes work to get it on, but once it's one it's comfortable. I have wider feet so I think that's part of the reason the fitting experience is harder.

About me: Size US 6.5-7.5, EE-EEE width depending on style/maker. 9.75" long, 4" wide ball. Normal-narrow heel, normal-slightly high arch. Review: Oh, how I wish Florsheim made their best styles in sizes smaller than 7. I could've used at least a 6.5EEE. This seems like a great budget introduction to monk straps in general, however. Fit wise, in a size 7EEE, the whole construction is very roomy. I had a lot of wiggle room, and while the toebox width was nearly perfect, this also meant there was a lot of heel slip, and the toebox was entirely too long. Florsheim uses a very soft and comfy leather, which makes all that extra unstructured, flat toebox very squishy and odd looking; you couldn't get away with wearing a too-big size in this style. Overall, I would say err on the smaller size with Florsheim as a whole, but especially in this style. Don't let that narrow toe fool you.
