I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She requested as she used my Copilot and loved it. I've had mine for at least 8 yrs and it's still in great shape!

I purchased the XL as I've had the smaller version for years. The XL fit everything I needed it for gifts for the holidays with room to spare. It has a similar layout as the smaller version and it just makes sense.

High quality luggage! Spacious, with quality wheels that roll well, and organized in a way that makes sense for traveling. Not my first Timbuk2 purchase - I've had a Timbuk2 backpack for 5 years now and it's still in great shape. I have a feeling this luggage will hold up in the same capacity.

This is s very nice, strong & sturdy suitcase with durable skateboard wheels, big enough for everything I need for a vacation yet sized to conform with airline checked-bag limits. Travels easily even through crowded airports & city streets. Highly recommended!

Purchased for my husband as a carry on replacement for an older, heavier bag. It is well constructed and seems like it will be easy to keep clean. He loves the modern, sleek appearance of this bag and the interior organization is A-plus! I now have bag envy and want this bag too, even though it only comes in black. I'm not a fan of black carryon bags since they're so ubiquitous. I'm willing to make an exception for this bag because its features are what I've been looking for- 2 well made wheels, easy to maintain and superior interior features. Lastly, compatible for majority airlines carry on policies. I would recommend this purchase.

I have the two small carry on sized suitcases along with the extra large and love them all equally but what I really want is a large size.... Hopefully someday there will be one offered.

This is my go to bag for everything going on 7 years now. As a frequent traveler, this bag has been put through it's paces many times. From two week long work trips, camping trips, road trips. Planes, Trains, Automobiles, and horse drawn wagons. This bag has seen it all. It's functionality is great, but also keeps my packing in check. My travel goal is "never check a bag," and this bag makes that goal doable. I love this bags compartments and accessibility. My partner and I will split sides in it when we go somewhere for just a few days. I need to replace one of the wheels as the bearing has worn out, it makes a annoying clicking when walking down the airport terminal. But that's the only really issue I've had with it to date. There's also a mark on the front from when I lent it to a friend and they felt the need to check it [tsk tsk]. When it dies, I will buy a new one. 100% would recommend to a friend.

This is a great addition to my two other timbuk2 bags. It's just as durable, stylish, and functional. I love the pockets and strong zippers. Easy to lift and roll. Works as a carryon for domestic flights.

I love this bag. I've had it for 6 years and it's still in great shape. And it's been through a lot of travel. The only thing I'd like to replace are the wheels, but I'm not sure if that's covered in the lifetime warranty. If this thing ever tanks (that's a big if) I'll buy another one.

I really like the overall design of this luggage. Everything is designed for heavy duty performance. The skate board wheels are really smooth rolling. The easy access front panel works great too.

I'm a pilot. Love the wheels and the handle that retracts below the profile. Lots of room in the bag and I'm using the "ranger roll" system for my clothing.

Great bag great design

Took this bag across Japan on our month long adventure! It worked very well! ESP because I was buying a ton of vintage and thrifted Japanese clothing while touring the country. Favorite feature is being able to access the inside of the bag without having to undo the clam-shell. 10/10 would recommend! My only issue was the size of bag was just took big for most of the vehicles, buses, and trains we were taking throughout our time.We were always able to get the bags to fit, but there was some discomfort, or special requests required from the different accommodations required for the bags. I don't think this would be a problem the rest of the world, but that was the only problem we experienced on this first trip with the bag!

The case is thoughtfully designed, well constructed, and easy to use. Bought it for an international trip. Seven planes, a few trains, some taxis, and a couple boats later - it's all good. I also, had a question for Customer Service - they were very helpful. Win, win. Time to plot my next adventure ...

I bought this bag hoping I would no longer need to check luggage. I am currently on a month long trip and it's worked out great. It's strong and lightweight and has enough room for everything I need. I just love it and I'm done shopping for luggage.

I'm a nearly every week traveler, domestic and international, from 2 days up to a week or so. This bag is awesome! You can use every square inch of it, which makes it great for longer trips or when you need, or want, to pack a versatile wardrobe. I never check a bag. I've had this bag for over 5 years, and it has held up great. After all of the use, the handle mechanism is getting a little tired. One of the wheels was coming off, but I screwed it back in and used some loc-tite on it and no problems since. All this is to say, this thing is durable, and still looks good! I've gone a lot of miles with this trusty companion. If you're looking for a bag that max's out the carry-on size, looks good, and lasts, buy this one.

I love my bag. It's the envy of the Camino! I'm currently walking the Portuguese coast (and using a luggage transfer service.) I chose this bag after a lot of research and after reading so many great reviews. I'm using it with compression packing cubes while on a 4 week trip. I'm a HUGE fan of this suitcase. The wheels are bombproof. Hauled it all over airports, train stations, up and down and over cobblestones and stairs. It has taken a lot of abuse and doesn't seem any worse for wear besides some scratches. Zippers work super well, & the inside mesh divider is terrific as it helps keep contents even better organized. The outside top pocket would work better if I didn't have such a full bag. I don't require the laptop compartment and not sure I'll ever use that. This bag will encourage me to continue to travel light. It's nearly perfect.

This luggage has held up for years even after being checked multiple times. Looks almost like the day I bought it. Very well designed and made. Good volume too.

I have used this product for about a year now. I travel frequently for business and pleasure. I would highly recommend to anyone. It is durable and well constructed. Wheels are quiet and smooth.

I love this bag. It has great design features with easy access (wheels and handle are sturdy, front opening to main compartment is ). The size is perfect; out of the box it looked big, but it fits perfectly in the overhead compartment. Our first trip together was a breeze and can't wait to break it in on our first international trip together next month. Whether you travel occasionally or multiple times a month, do yourself a favor - spend the dough and buy this bag.

Love the organizational features and quality.

The bag is well-made and substantial. I love the handles on all sides and the sturdy wheels. I also like the clamshell design and the access panels in the front. It is a very well designed and functional bag. I am able to pack lots of stuff and keep it all organized.

As a new flight attendant, I needed to upgrade from a casual traveler carryon to something more sophisticated. This came recommended from several in the industry and let me tell you: For the price, this bag is amazing! Every little detail has been thought out and works well. I love being able to separate my clothes from other items in my bag. The extra shoe slot is amazing, and I fit yet another shoe bag next to it, allowing me to bring up to 3 pairs of shoes comfortably with me. And even then I can still fit my toiletries bag in that same spot. The laptop bag let's me remove my laptop from my backpack, making it lighter to carry. The skateboard roller wheels are a GOD send. And the handle (and the way the bars are protected in the bag) are another top notch decision that shows the durability of this bag. This is the best investment I've made so far in my career!

I have flown all around the world, with the Copilot carry on for a number of years until the zipper broke and it had to be replaced. Timbuk2 Inspected the damage and decided to replace the bag, with a brand new bag. WOW, I mean WOW. I did not expect that. They have my loyalty forever.
