I usually wear an 8, had to return and get 8 1/2. I have a spur on top of my right foot and the stretch fabric doesn’t bother it, I’m thrilled. There is good arch support and the slight elevated heel, makes it a very comfortable shoe.

Jambu excels again, and with something that's imaginative and different. I have a long narrow foot, with high arch and no metatarsal arch in the ball of my foot, so it is hard to find well padded footbeds that are comfortable. Jambu is the best I have found for this, and some Skechers and Softwalks. Other suggestions welcome! This shoe felt marvelous on my feet, and the 8.5 was not so wide as the Jambu T-strap sandals (which I wear anyway, have three pairs). These would be great for someone who had to stand a lot at their job. These are one of the few that even I can wear for 6-8 hours.

I wear any size shoe from 9 up to 10 depending on the brand, usually settling on a 9.5, but a 9 fit me perfectly in these. They're cute and comfortable, easy and sturdy for walking, with all the support I expect from a good athletic shoe, and most importantly, I can wear them to work! The only thing I would prefer in this style would be a bit more pointed toe; maybe next year?

I really loved the shoe design, looked just like the website photos. Unfortunately the shoe is on a narrow footbed and it doesn't come in widths. Otherwise it would have been a keeper!

These are terrific shoes. While they run narrow, that part of the shoe fit me fine. (Be aware that they Do run narrow.) I usually wear a 6 1/2 but my toes were at the tip of the footbed. I am returning them, and when my credit goes through, I'll order a 7. The stretchy ties are quite nice and the gold instep gives them a bit of pizzazz.

I've never bought this brand before, so this is a first. I usually buy Clark's but these are so much better than recent experience I've had with Clark's. I just got these shoes and haven't worn them much so I can't say anything about durability, but they are very comfortable on my feet. I also really like that they are easy to get on and off, light in weight, the foot bed is nicely cushioned, and the elastic pull band allows you to snug them up to fit your foot. I have been looking for a casual shoe that comes up over the top of the foot because other styles that are cut lower around the top of the toes tend to cut into my foot and sometimes cause my feet to swell. The look of these shoes is also unique and a bit wicked. I've always liked the "gladiator" look and this design has some of that look but not too much. I only gave then 4 stars because I haven't worn them enough to comment on other things about them. Otherwise, I'd give them 5.

For the sake of full disclosure, I decided to amend my review of a few days ago. A real issue I'm having with these shoes is their pervasive smell. It's hard to describe - not exactly a rubbery smell, but almost garlicky. They smell like pastrami. While I love pastrami, I don't really want my feet to smell like it. The shoes have been airing out for days, now, with no improvement. Also, upon wearing them barefoot for the second time, I got a wicked set of blisters on my heels. I should have known better, but the shoes look pretty goofy with socks, and it's too warm here for tights.

I love these shoes - and this brand. They run a tiny bit narrow but not a problem for me. They are also a tiny bit larger than my usual 9 1/2 but I would say it is best to order your size and try them on with and without socks. They are great looking and very comfortable.

Super comfortable and very cute...had lots of compliments already. Will be great run around shoes for the summer.

I really love Jambu shoes, especially this sneaker. I like my sneakers tight so I ordered a full size down. At a half size down my heal was slipping out. They are a bit narrow but my foot runs narrow but not narrow enough to order a narrow - I still typically fit a medium width. Kind of a taupe color is the one I ordered. It has a pink tinge to it. Just a great wear without socks summer sneaker!

Very cute! I thought perhaps the front of the shoe would be bothersome because of its height, but not at all! Very comfortable! I like shoes that are “different” in appearance, and these fit the bill. So far, fabulous!

These successfully replace three pairs of an earlier design that I have been wearing for 8 years with pleasure and comfort. People have stopped me on the street to ask whereI got them, If this works as well, I'll invest in 2 more pairs.

These are my go to happy feet shoes! Wore them right out of the box every day on our vacation. Easy on and easy off. The elastic adjustment is great if your feet need more room after lots of walking and standing. The back of the shoe comes up far enough to keep any Achilles issues comfortable. Plus the added benefit of being cute! Love them!!!

returned these because i had a pair almost the same color and style, otherwise i would not hesitate to keep, because i love jambu and ever pair i have had i love.

Love the shoes! But I probably need a sandal since my foot sweated in this shoe. They really made me feel attractive and the style was so great.

These shoes are so unique I think I'll keep them even though they are not as comfortable as I'd like. The issues I have are: not enough support for my high arches (and no way to fit an orthotic), a bit narrow where the foot needs width, and a little bit of rubbing at the top of the heel (I can fix this problem). I was hoping to wear these a lot on an upcoming trip. Instead, I'll just wear them around town. They are just so cute! One other issue to note: they arrived with a couple of scratches on the shiny part of the sole. Not a deal-breaker for me, but it seemed worth noting.

I wore these shoes shopping and they were pretty comfortable out of the box, but after walking for awhile the shoe on my right foot began squeezing and pinching my little toe to the point it turned red. Then my right heel felt like a blister was forming. I adjusted both cords on each foot but then my left foot felt numb. I almost bought a new pair of shoes while out shopping but instead hobbled to my car and took them off immediately. Too bad for the return. They are so cute! I wish it would have worked out. Love the color and goes with everything.

Bought these for a walking trip and found them to be light weight and very cush inside with no real arch support. Took a walk in them with bare feet and they caused no problems. Cute, if weird, style defies a category, although they feel like sneakers. They look trim on the foot, not bulky like an athletic shoe. I'm planning to wear them with a dress and leggings as well as with pants. I have a narrow foot, and these fit perfectly, so they may not work if you have a wide foot.

Great style but the toe box was quite long and narrow. So sorry to have had to return them, but Zappos is always fabulous about these issues. Ordered two more pair of shoes (Bloch Jazz shoe) the next day.

Pointy toed and uncomfortable

Adorable and so comfortable but they smelled like dog poo right out of the box. After 7 weeks of regular airing and wearing, the aroma had not improved one bit.
