The boot itself was fine, the leather wasn't quite as smooth as I expected it to be - I know it looks a little pebbled in the photos on the website, but I would say it was much more so in person. Also, the brown in person looks quite a bit different than it does on the website. The website looks more of a cognac brown whereas in person it was a little less red and a little more yellow.

These are very nice shoes for the price. The leather is very soft and the soles are sturdy. The stitching around the sole looks fake but not terribly noticeable. They have proven to be fairly comfortable for several hours spent mostly standing. I wear an 11.5 and this shoe in that size was quite roomy so I tried the 11s and they were way too small. This leads me think these might really be Euro-sized in disguise where the 46 is closer to a 12 and a 45 is closer to a 10.5. Either way the 11.5s with a thicker sock are working for me. Nonetheless, these are a really nice shoe that goes well with dress slacks.

They look great and the price was good. Unfortunately the craftsmanship is terrible. The bottom of one shoe started to separate from the top on the second day of wearing the shoes. Additionally, the shoes gave me a blister on the top of my foot. Until now, I've. Never had a pair of shoes that did that.

Just had these delivered (the day after ordering! Thanks Zappos) and am thrilled. Got them in black after looking at what seemed like hundreds of chukka styles. Most of the chukkas I liked were above the $200 mark, and I have spent more than that previously on dress shoes, but for a chukka was just not feeling it. Then I came across these and BOOM! problem solved. Taller than a chukka and I just like the clean design and subtle cap toe. They arrived very nicely packaged. Each shoe was filled with tissue paper. These are made in Brazil (instead of China, which I also kinda like) and just feel substantial. The leather is a bit shiny but this will enable them to dress up a bit when desired. I am wearing jeans more frequently for business casual and these will look great with my typical sport coat/blazer and tucked in shirt vibe. Very comfortable foot bed and I am typically a size 9 which I went with and they fit perfectly. First time buyer of this brand, and I have not worn them yet - will post an update later - however expecting them to wear well. Glad I kept looking and was happy to find these for what I feel is an excellent value.

I have been wearing Chukka's since I was a kid. I usually purchase a particular brand but apparently they are no longer available. Since I have purchased shoes by Massimo Matteo before I was somewhat familiar with the quality I have only had the opportunity to wear these once but was very pleased with the fit and comfort level. I prefer suede leather and was concerned that these are not genuine leather. However, these are very nice and understated with the cap toe style. I continue to be impressed by Massimo Matteo and would buy again.

Shoe broke in less than 3 hours of wearing while sitting at my desk. Unacceptable craftsmanship at any price point
