Stylish shoes - great to pair with chinos for a casual work look or sockless with shorts during the summer. These fit a little snug and feel stiff, running a little narrower and less comfortable than I've found with other New Balance shoes.

I tend to wear 11 in athletic shoes but wanted something for summer light and breezy and decided on these NBs. I decided to order them in 11.5 to be loose enough to slip in/out of. When I opened the box I was surprised that these don't have a loose shoe tongue but one with elastic. This makes the shoe narrow and tight with my high instep. Not sure if cutting them will bring relief or not. Once I got them on they felt fine but a bit tight. Considering I bought them a half size larger that is silly. So I would say if you need a "generous" D then you might need to go up half a size. They look good and either the elastic will stretch or I will snip them.
