Amazing arch support. So comfortable immediately, with more cushion than a Birkenstock. Straps make it perfectly adjustable. I do wish there were a tiny bit of rocker at the toe (I have Hallux limitus), because the sole is very flat. However, the sole is fairly stiff, so they may work. On my short list. Have tried Allegria, Seibel, OTBT, Abeo bijou (great arch support but ugly- might keep them anyway). Your full toe may hang out in front of strap, so keep that in mind. Spot on sizing. True to Dansko/ Ecco 39.

The best sandals ever and I don't say that lightly. It is a really difficult challenge to get a shoe or sandal that addresses the discomfort I can feel if the shoe hits my metatarsal joint wrong or is not cushioned enough for comfort. This shoe meets every need I have, including style. I purchased the style with black base, which I don't see any longer. However the design and construction is the same as the current Bethany. LOVE these shoes. When I first began wearing them around the house to test that they truly didn't cause discomfort, I got distracted and totally forgot I had them on. Wore them to an evening event and they looked great. They are slightly wide, but the straps adjust and make them fit to my foot. I would pay any price for foot comfort, as I am an active person and hate limitations. These were worth what I paid and more!!

These sandals are truly God-sent! I was having so much trouble finding the right sandals due to plantar fasciitis and metatarsal pain. Found them at a. Local store, tried them on and was surprised by how much support there is! They look like Birkenstock, but the comfort level is so different! These are so comfortable, yet does not compromise on support. I’m very thankful that I found them, I now have 2 pairs that I wear at home! I alternate them to give them a breather in between wearing.

Want to know why the popular sizes are sold out? Because this sandal is seriously the most comfortable sandal ever worn. I used to be a Birkenstock fan, but they’ve changed their recipe. This is my new favorite. I’m a true size 8 and the 7.5-8 fits like a glove. I got the navy with the grey snake detail...totally adorbs! With skinny jeans or a little A line skirt- these sandals are comfy, feminine, and stylish...love!!!

I normally wear a 39 (US 8 1/2) in my other shoes and sandals so ordered the same size in these. They are definitely bigger than other shoes I wear-probably could've gone down a half size and they would've fit perfect. However, the extra room does not bother me and these shoes are SOO incredibly comfortable right out of the box that I will not be returning them!! It's like walking on cushions of air! Normally I have knee pain with a lot of shoes i wear and I wore these all afternoon and had zero knee pain and my feet were quite comfortable. They don't seem to have as much arch support as some of my other sandals but it didn't seem to matter as they are so comfortable! Love the Navy blue color with the fun faux snakeskin appearance of the bottoms! I can see myself wearing these a lot with casual outfits.. not quite dressy enough for dressier outfits..

I have problems with arch support and over pronation. . I love this shoe and just ordered in black. Only issue I have is the metal tips on straps. Had to return a different style because the metal piece fell off. Same on the one I just got but was able to reattach the piece and hopefully the glue will help. If Aetrex can fix these issues all would be perfect!!

Runs a little long. I wrote an earlier review saying the sizing was spot on - true to Dansko/Ecco 39, but just realized that I actually did size down to a 38, which is perfect.

These are super, super comfortable. Soft footbed but very good arch support. Love the velcro adjustable straps to get just the right fit. I have a wide foot and my feet fill these shoes just right. My daughter, with very narrow feet, tried them and they definitely looked a little clunkier on her. I got the bronze ones with the white sole. They are really cute but I was hoping they would look a little dressier. They definitely have that Teva/water sandal look with a fancier finishes. They're wide looking. But man, they are so, so comfortable, they may be the winners for a big trip. I might get them in black instead and see if that makes them a little dressier. Wishing they had a brown leather option that wasn't metallic. I would definitely recommend these.

I love these shoes! The molded footbed is very comfortable and offers good arch support. The velcro straps allow for easy adjustment. I normally wear a size 10.5 and the Aetrex 41 fits me nicely. I'm sure a 42 would be too large. These shoes are probably best suited for someone with a slightly wider forefoot. Happy feet!

This shoe has excellent arch support yet the footbed is soft for added comfort. I got the bronze pair and I am very happy with the way they look.

These are very nice sandals. I am recovering from foot surgery ( big toe area ) and tried MANY other sandals - I took a chance on these and to my surprise I could wear them - they allow adjustment with the Velcro and the arch support is nice too.

Love these sandals. Comfy right out of the box. Great stretch support and feel like they would be supportive for a long day of walking on vacation. I usually wear vionic, but like these better.

I think these shoes are cute unfortunately the front strap hits the part outside of my foot that is tender aka bunionette , so I'm sending them back. thank you Zappos for easy order and returns.

These are amazing shoes! I had foot surgery a few years ago (tore tendon in the arch of my foot). I can only wear shoes with a true arch support. Aetrex are the best, stylish & most affordable in this catagory. It's hard to find "cute" arch support sandals . . . these are adorable!! Soooo comfortable!!

First let me say that I have plantar fasciitis, and pay for it dearly if I don't wear supportive shoes. That's all good and fine until I want to wear sandals. I have a pair of Birkenstocks but was looking for a slightly nicer looking black sandal. After reading the reviews, I pulled the trigger on these and am so happy I did. They are very "on trend" (I hate shoes/sandals that look like orthotics), but extremely comfortable and supportive at the same time! I can see myself wearing these all summer without issue. I got the black ones and love the look. I'm usually a 7.5 or 8 and I ordered the 8. They fit perfect. I love how both straps are adjustable as well.

These sandals are incredibly comfortable. Very supportive. I would have kept them but for the fact that they don't have a rocking bottom, which I need because of foot arthritis.

These cute sandals have great arch support, a deep heel cup and were very comfortable. Unfortunately, I have to return them since the straps dug in on my hammertoe.

The footbed on this sandal was superb for my high arch and plantar fasciitis. I loved the shoe except for one thing - the foot strap cut into my bunyon. Too bad - had to return - but I really wanted to love this shoe.

Wide footbed! Akin to Dansko. Even strapped down, the ball of my foot could slide side to side. Fabulous shoe but I would be a narrow in their sizing, which are not available. So disappointed because an otherwise fabulous shoe.

Felt 1/2 a size larger and wider and my feet are on the wide side. Good arch support and comfortable but too big. Afraid a 1/2 size smaller would be too short.

This shoe fit very wide and longer than my usual 8 size fits. It fit more like a wide 9. The footbed was more like a Birkenstock and a little too stiff for me. Order down a size on these.

The shoe was huge. At least a full size larger. Also it looked better in the picture, but it did look like it would be comfortable if you found the correct fit.

This is the most perfect fitting and comfortable sandal that I have ever owned. The arch support is excellent!! They are stylish and color is beautiful. I wear these all day long and into the evening, so comfortable.

I love this shoe. It is extremely comfortable. Great arch support. Soft suede and foot bed. The cork sole is so comfortable. The wife of this is perfect for the toe bed! This is an amazing sandal. I hope they make a shoe to fit like this. Best sandal ever. The color is rich and looks great.

These are my first ‘comfort’ style shoes, and fit very well true to size. I’m a size 8 with flat feet, and plantar fasciitis. They look better in person, less granola granny and comfortable than Birkenstock’s. I’ve tried on several styles of Birkenstock’s— and they don’t fit my feet correctly, either too short or long in the toe bed area, the foot bed was too hard and straps rubbed (so many cons). These aetrex sandals feel so wonderful on your feet. I have been wearing them for the past couple of days, and I feel like the foot bed it starting to mold to my feet.
