Runs a bit small. Im usually an 8.5 and I had to exchange for a 9. The toe box is still a bit narrow and uncomfortable at times. But Im sure it will get better as they break in. This is the exact style and color I was looking for.

I wear a 9.5 in Vans but need a 10 in the NB 255. Very solid construction. Unfortunately, they no longer have the tongue centering bands. This changes the fit of the shoes, not in a good way. Ended up sending them back. I will search the internet for old stock that have the tongue bands.

The color is more of a teal than the dark green it appears online (to me). The sizes run small, so I would order at least a half size up - the guy at the store told me this is true and a common reason for returns, and yet still they don't highlight that online. The shoes were fine, otherwise. The biggest bummer of the whole deal was the shipping of them: the estimated 2-5 business days turned into over 10. Give an honest estimate of the time it will take so people can a decision on what shipping option to pick.

I got two pairs of shoes at the same time. These and the 272s. I bought the same size but for some reason these run smaller. They are cute and seem like they would be comfortable but the I wish they hadn't been sold out of the next size up because these are just too tight.

I ordered a size 9 since reviews said the shoes run small. These run a full size smaller than stated on the box/shoes. I wear an 8 1/2 normally but in canvas sneakers (like Converse) I can wear an 8. I couldn't even get into these. The front of the shoe is a vinyl/plastic ugly piece that I wasn't expecting and made the shoe stiff with no give whatsoever.
I only gave three stars for overall and style because they are cute, but horribly miss-sized. I just don't get that horrible front piece...

Shoe is ok but there are better skateboarding shoes for the price. Not as comfortable as I had hoped, kind of stiff. Colors are great, bottom of shoe is cool looking. Shoe runs smaller than the typical New Balance shoes. I take a 10 to 10.5, I have wide feet so usually a 10.5 fits better and that is what I ordered. Wish I had gone with the size 11 but I figure they will stretch some. Came with white laces installed and a package with bright blue laces which I really wanted to use but they are over an inch shorter than the ones that came installed, which are short anyway and they are not as wide as the white laces. What give NB ? Why would you send different size laces as a second pair ? Now I will go looking for the blue laces.

These fit much narrower than advertised (I have narrow feet to begin with - 6’ tall and weigh 165, just naturally thin - and these were very uncomfortable). Also, the materials are stiff, adding to the discomfort. Try the Nike SB Portmore II Canvas ones instead for similar style but much lighter and more comfortable materials (also costs less).
