I travel frequently and wanted a good bag that I can carry laptop and misc things in instead of a backpack. Wanted good straps that we're not too long. This bag is perfect. All of Timbuk2 stuff is well made and this is no exception. My only complaint (not big) is the interior lining is a god awful green. I know the bright color helps you see stuff in the bag but I really hate green. Other than that it's super.

Big enough for work laptop and personal items. Yes, the inside is bright green but no a deal breaker. Sturdy handles and nice color. All in all, it's a great bag.

I use this as my gym bag and absolutely love it. Super functional while also looking great.

I bought this bag about a year ago and have gotten quite a bit of use out of it. I got it in troop and it's a beautiful color, and the bag itself feels and looks like quality. It's versatile and super durable; I'm very rough on my bags and this one is holding up quite well. It has an adequate amount of pockets though padding on the laptop sleeve would make it even better. One major trick; I FULLY utilize the cross-body strap adapter for biking and long walks because the shoulder strap is not the most comfortable. Minor flaws, you can adjust it in many ways and customize it to your preference. Overall, would highly recommend.

I've used this bag twice as a carry-on, and it's great. The material and the hardware of the bag is durable, and just looks cool. The bag itself fits right under the seat, and is roomy enough to hold all of my travel necessities: over-the-ear headphones (in their bulky case), charging cables, book, notebook, sweater, water bottle, some snacks, plus a small packing cube with a few items of clothing. I was even able to fit a small packaging tube with artwork inside AND zip it up. It's not really clear in the photos, but in addition to the lightly-padded laptop interior pocket, there are two open pockets and one zippered pocket. They're all pretty small, but it was the perfect size to put gum, tissues, and an eye mask. Also, while the outside zippered pocket is small, too, it fit my equally small wallet securely. Two things I wish it came with: a removable padded strap pad--I used one from one of my other Timbuk2 bags--to make the over-the-shoulder strap more comfortable, and a back sleeve for the option to slide it right over a luggage handle. Barring those two things, it's a great size to throw everything you need into it.

I carry an inordinate amount of stuff in my work bag and was struggling to find a bag to fit everything I needed. This bag has worked out perfectly for my needs. It's good quality and has a minimalistic design. However with that said,if you're someone who likes a lot of pockets then this isn't the bag for you.

I loved this Timbuk2 tote bag, super versatile and lightweight. The strap is the perfect lenght, it is sturdy and chic.

I needed a bag to carry all my work necessities, laptop, paperwork, personal items etc... This bag is a nice size, large but not terribly bigger then the tote I carried previously. There is even room to throw my gym gear in if needed. I think this may also be an option for day trips by bike and when traveling.

I love this bag. I needed a bag large enough to carry my computer and all my stuff, paperwork, planner/calendar, and a couple of notebooks that I use for daily. It is perfect. It fits everything comfortably.

Love this bag! Great looking and very stylish, gender neutral. It is suitable for casual use as well as taking to the office. High quality materials and extremely well-made. The bag is of such high quality that I don't anticipate ever needing to replace it. I have used it as an everyday bag, an overnight bag, and for carrying a multitude of items for a day spent at the hospital for testing. It worked great every time and was roomy enough for everything I needed. I do wish the small pockets were a bit larger or it had another medium sized pocket. That said, I was still able to organize items fairly well. I like the larger interior pocket with the magnetic closure for holding either my iPad or laptop. The bag was comfortable to carry, even when I had it packed pretty heavily. The cross-body strap is a great feature that other totes I've used do not have. I haven't used it while biking, but find the strap really helps stabilize and hold the bag while walking longer distances. I also found the key keeper a handy addition. I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone.

I was becoming a "bag lady" at work and really needed a professional bag that could do it all, or just about. This bag is incredible: my ancient MacBook Air fits perfectly inside the pocket, and the depth of the bag is so right that it doesn't become a black hole for everything else inside. I can see what I'm carrying, I can find my things, and the key loop means I haven't locked my keys in my office in weeks. (Sad but real.) I have started ditching my purse and putting everything in this bag because it can handle a lot, and it never feels terribly heavy, even when it's loaded up. I've taken it on work trips, and it did great. The straps also fit over my winter coat, which is a big plus.

I really like this tote! It's big enough to fit a few pairs of clothes to bring it as an overnight bag! I love all of the pockets inside to keep me organized. The quality is great!

After shopping for months I spotted this bag on Instagram and discovered Timbuk2. I did a stint selling high end luggage and handbags many moons ago and this bag checks all the boxes. Even better than I expected. Great for to and from work, functional and beautiful.

This lug tote is very comfortable with everyday commuting. Also the quality is amazing, has a good amount of pockets to be organized. This bag is very stylish and would match with any outfit. I would buy this tote again because this bag feels very durable and well made no loose stitchings. The strap is very durable as well and nice and comfortable as it sits on shoulder. Bag is lightweight and easy to carry around. I would definately recommend this bag to others, very modern, stylish, durable, high quality and most important factor of all very comfortable.

This has become my default errand running bag! It is a little heavier than my other crossbody totes and messenger bags, and I attribute it to the fact that this bag is more padded than the others I have and the sail cloth material used. The combination of the large size and slim profile means that even when the tote is stuffed, it doesn't look bulky. I like the extra crossbody stabilization strap that's included -- it's main purpose might be for stabilization while riding a bike but I find it also helps distribute the weight a bit more evenly if I'm carrying heavier items. I like the magnetic closure on the inside pocket, but I wish the zippered neoprene internal organizational pockets were a little larger. As you can see in the stock photos, you can slip a phone into the unzipped pocket and about half of it still sticks out -- my preference would be a deeper pocket to be able to have more of the screen protected from the other contents of my bag. (Yes, the easy solution is to flip the phone around, but I like deeper pockets in general). My only other quibble is that the outside zip pocket is a little narrow but that's a result of the design of the bag's handles. I love that it has a key keeper so that you won't lose your keys to the depth of the pocket. I do wish they also included a key keeper in the main compartment as that's where I keep my keys. (The way I wear my bag, what's suppose to be a rear pocket facing your body turns into an outside pocket facing away from me, so I feel safer putting keys into the main compartment.) Overall, I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a simple and stylish bag tote or crossbody.

This is a very durable bag that is both practical and stylish. There is plenty of room to store many things, but I do wish there was a separate pocket for a laptop. It is appropriate for both work and daily use, and it's great-looking, too! I've gotten complimented on the bag many times, and it's only been a week or so since I got it. Not the cheapest bag out there, but definitely not the most expensive, either. I think the product is well worth its price, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a tote bag for work/school.

Like most Timbuk2 bags, this tote straddles the line between rugged and durable and stylish and sleek. I tote a lot of stuff around with me on a daily basis, so it's great to be able to carry it all in one bag ... and have that bag keep a pretty slim profile.

This bag is not only sleek and stylish it's comfortable, light weight, and fits a lot of stuff into into comfortably. Even stuffed to the brim this bag remains comfortable and easy to carry around. My family and friends are jealous of my new bag and are looking into getting one of their own. I would recommend this bag. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

This bag is AMAZING. It is bigger than I expected but that is a good thing. I commute for work and carry a lot in my bag on a daily basis. I tend to have so much I often need to carry two bags with me, or a backpack and a shoulder bag. This bag fits everything I need for my day. I carry my lunch and snacks, plus a pair of shoes, sometimes a change of clothes, and then my usual day-to-day items. I love the look of the bag; it is very simple and sleek. Even when it is full, it never looks bulky or awkward. It is so comfortable to carry, not heavy like other large bags I have. I enjoy the fact that there are smaller straps and one longer strap. I love that it has an outside small pocket, I am able to keep my work ID and my commuter card readily available and easy to grab. I also enjoy that there are inside pockets to help sort my belongings. I have used this bag for everything, commuting, day-to-day errands, and overnight trips. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this bag, I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I use this productos for my meetings. I have tons of paper and this is great for it. My old one was already too used So I was very please when I recieved it.

I like the style..its heavy duty quality and it won't tear as easy

Can be used for anything - great travel bag, large "briefcase", overnight bag, whatever.

It's just a terrific tote. I tend to carry a lot with me and it has a place for it all, while keeping a slim profile and soft structured shape. I'd recommend this to anyone, totally gender neutral!
