Yep. They fart. A little powder helps. Otherwise, classic birks. TTS. I usually get the regular width but these fit fine in the narrow. The buckle did not pinch me as others have noted. But I may not be noticing from making fart sounds back at them. Seriously tho, they do make an unfortunate noise, yet so comfy & cute that I’m keeping. I’ve had the small buckle style of Madrids before & had bunion issues with those. These don’t seem to do that. Do make me laugh which is a huge plus

I have wide feet with bunions, but these were still plenty wide. I’ve owned quite a few Birkenstock’s in the past and these are not as comfortable as most. I’m keeping them though because they’re so cute and am hoping they break in over time.

Love the style and the color. Im on my feet all day w work and almost exclusively wear Birkenstock’s, because they are good looking and comfortable which is a hard combo to find. This style fits the bill except it doesn’t have the soft sole that some Birkenstock styles do and I have grown to love. I’ll still be wearing them but I’m ordering another pair w the soft sole for longer days. I wear an 8.5 in other shoes but in Birks I like a snugger fit and order the 38.

These are so adorable and the fit was as my many other Birkenstocks. Unfortunately the beautiful silver buckle made walking in the sandals painful. A few steps around the house and I could not stand how it pushed into the top of my foot. Sad.

Loved the overall look. I wear a 39 reliably but sadly it is just too wide even on the lowest buckle opening. Difficult to walk without a thick sock. Loved the ice blue color too, a great neutral.

The footbed is leather and not plastic. However, this model runs larger than the Madrid pair with big buckle in cognac that I purchased last year. I measured the upper leather and it is one inch larger than my other Madrid pair. Too bad, I thought for sure that I would love this pair as much.

I really wanted to love this shoe! The color was exactly what I wanted and the style was cute BUT the big buckle painfully dug into the top of my foot with every step. I wore them around my house for 15 minutes and I had bruises from them. Sadly, I had to send them back.

I love the look of this shoe, however it is marked N and I have always worn M width. I cannot the buckle small enough so that my foot doesn't slide around.

The large buckle rubs against the top of your foot and is painful. Really poor design.

I wanted to love these so much but unfortunately because of the size of the buckle it digs into the top of my foot every time I walk so I have to return..

These look good but I found them to be too heavy and stiff for me. I didn't like them overall

The top of my foot is very high and these dug into the top of my foot when walking. Wouldn’t have been able to walk 10 feet. I’ll need to return. The style is very cute and I wish it would have worked with my foot.

Was still too loose with ordering a size down, sadly returned.

I loved these so much. The pink color and footbed lining are just so beautiful and the big buckle is really stylish. Unfortunately, the buckle hurt SO much on the top of my foot. It dug in so hard when walking and adjusting the buckle hole just made it hurt worse. I read other reviews saying the big buckle dug into their feet too, but I thought I'd take a chance and give it a shot. So sad to have to send them back. They are pretty narrow, too, and as someone who generally wears a regular width in Birks, it would be good to know that the narrow IS quite narrow (and I don't have wide feet).

These are so cute but on the narrowest buckle it was even a bit wide. My feet are very average width. Had to return.

I love the way these sandals look. I was so excited to have my first pair of Birkenstocks. However, they left me with blisters on the top of my toes and the top of my foot was sore. I am so disappointed. I had expected them to be so comfortable.

The size was right. The fit was very uncomfortable, due to the strap rubbing the top of my foot.

These are so cute I have been wearing them around the house to try and break them in. They are my least comfortable Birkenstock shoe because the buckle digs into the top of the foot if tightened for a snug fit to prevent the shoe from flopping. This is magnified by the inflexible sole. Without the snug fit, my foot slips too far forward. My feet are super narrow so the narrow size otherwise works as far as width goes. However the length is a tad short even though this is my Birkenstock size in other styles. Unless I keep my foot fastened in with the buckle tightened, my toes will slip out over the shoe for a truly cringe- worthy look and feel. I’ve worn them for a few days and they are used now so I can’t really return them. I have tried really hard to make them work and will wear them as a house shoe as I decide if they can be an outdoor shoe. I’m hoping that if they continue to mold to my foot and stretch that they will work but this is nowhere near the typical love at first feel I get with Birkenstocks. If they weren’t so darned cute I would have immediately returned them. They are not the Birkenstock’s I’d wear on a day with a lot of walking, which is what I typically want in this brand of shoe- a sandal like the others that I could walk to the end of the earth in. I would recommend trying a couple of sizes before settling.

So disappointed in these sandals. Never felt like they broke in and became comfortable. I wore several times but couldn't wait to take them off when I got home. Too late to return.

The buckle on top was very uncomfortable and immediately rubbed.

I actually got these to use as house slippers. I need something with support but my feet are narrow so 99% of slippers don't work. The problem with these is the footbed. It's black and the dye wears off on my feet. I really don't want to walk around with black dye on my feet. This is a problem.

I wanted to like these so much. I ordered them, walked around a bit in them and the big buckle cut into the top of my foot really bad. I am not sure if it would get better as they break in but I did not want to risk it. They are so cute! I love the color and the style, but the top buckle was very uncomfortable.

Weird fit. Too short in the toe area. I don’t have abnormally long toes. They are cute but sadly need to return

Such cute shoes, felt true to size but had to return because the big buckle bruised the top of my foot. Tried to "break them in" by wearing around the house but after an hour the top of my right foot was so sore from where the buckle hit that I had a huge bruise.

The buckle hits in a weird and very uncomfortable place on my foot. The size was fine, the way it hit the top of my foot was not. Had to return.
