I returned these birkenstocks because they were so hard to stand on. I do wear birkenstocks in different styles and was trying out another style but did not like these

These are not the quality I'm used to with Birkenstocks. They look and feel cheaply made.

Super cute shoes. But I had to return. They would not stay securely on my feet. The buckles can be adjusted near the toe box which is helpful but they kept slipping as I walked. The shoe seem to fit the footbed but they just would not stay in place. I really like the look of the shoe.

I really loved the look but they cut into the top of my feet which made the impossible to walk in without pain. I think the leather was too hard to break.

Wish I could wear the single strap because they are cute…Forget it, back to double strap to stay on my foot

I thought these were really cute, but they were not comfortable. The strap across the toes was very uncomfortable. My foot wouldn't stay in the sandal.

The leather strap scratched the tops of my feet. Loosening the buckle only made it more obvious. I usually find Birks very comfortable, but these didn't work for me.

The fit was great. The shoes came with the leather on both shoes very scuffed up and the buckle was not done on the shoes. Not sure if this is how the shoe is supposed to be or if it was a return but for the money they should have been in perfect condition.

The patent/plastic cuts the top of foot. The footbed is quite slippery. Too bad because they look super cute.

Theses are molded shoes, therefore if you have Greek, Celtic or Roman shaped feet, they aren’t comfortable.

I have 5 pairs of birkenstocks. I love them .This footbed is the same very comfortable, however the top leather is extremely stiff and uncomfortable, so much so I didnt feel I would even be able to break it in .I am returning

These are cute and I have been very torn about returning them. Ultimately, I decided to send them back. I am a big fan of the original Madrid and I like the look of the Big Buckle and the brown leather. I do not like the feel of the buckle and expect that the top of my foot will be sore from hitting the buckle repeatedly. It just hits my foot on a very tender spot. Additionally I do not like the leather footbed. When I walk, the shoe produces a sucking sound as my foot comes off the footbed. I am returning for a classic Madrid with the standard footbed.

They fit my feet but are not comfortable at all. I can wear them to ride to a restaurant and sit down., or anything that doesn't involve a lot of walking. Disappointed; they are not cheap.

I really wanted to like these but the strap felt sharp so I returned. The purple orchid color was very pretty though. I also liked the shiny gold buckle.

While the shoe fit comfortably on my footbed, they literally did not stay strapped on to my foot with buckle goin across my toes.

After loving the original Madrid, I tried these. NOT comfortable. The footbed is different, harder, and the strap and buckle are too wide and stiff, which hurts the top of my foot. I'm exchanging for the original Madrid.

The inside sole is very slippery so every time I took a step my foot slipped too far forward.

The buckle on the right shoe is closer to the edge than the left foot. So the edge of the buckle cuts into the top of your foot when you walk. I can tell these shoes were already returned once and probably for the same reason.

Horribly uncomfortable

This is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever put on my foot! The large buckle digs into the flesh on top of my foot to the point of agony!!

They had been worn and the toes were stain marked on the footbed. Disappointed.

Very very weird fit. The toe area too short could not go up a size because then it would be too long in the back. The width was a little bit too wide. I’m really disappointed because it’s a cute shoe. I just didn’t work for me.

I love the look of these shoes and wanted them for over a year. I purchased the shoes and everyone I wear them I end up with blisters. They are the most uncomfortable Birkenstocks I have ever owned
