I love the bag. It's definitely going to last a long time. The only thing is that there's so much to the bag that I gad to watch a video to figure out what everything was for.

I use this for School, folders, note books, coffee thermos, pens. It is nice. There are two thermos holders of the same size inside. They are both a little tight for my 16oz. They would be better as different sizes. The Velcro is noisy and a bit much. A cover, for the Velcro or other way to avoid the loud opening might be an improvement. I use the clips and feel the Velcro unneeded, but not sure it would better missing all together. Finally, outside access is limited. I'd like a pen pocket and single folder slot, even if sticks out. There is a narrow letter envelope size pocket but it is tight and hard to access. A loop on the strap for a carabiner or clip would be another addition that is hard to retrofit.

Overall, this is a lovely bag. A bit smaller than I expected and unfortunately, the strap is pretty short, so for those of us who are on the heftier side, it won't be worn as a crossbody. However, it has lots of pockets and room for notebooks, laptops, and misc. items. I love that there are two separate thermos holders inside, although I sometimes get nervous my drink will spill in the beg. Putting them on the two exterior sides might be helpful, but either way, I have one for coffee and one for my water bottle, which is nice and I just make sure to purchase spill-proof canisters. The bag doesn't get soaked when walking in the rain and it is pretty comfortable to hold given the extra padded shoulder strap. I'd definitely recommend this messenger bag, especially to a student or teacher who commutes or just doesn't have a ton of things to carry around.

This being my second bag. First one lasted me 15 years. A few things better, a few things I miss. Construction material doesn't clean up well. It's a bit smaller. And not as many organization pockets. Love the light weight, and always wanted a handle on the top.

Generally I use this as a standalone runabout bag but every once and a while I fly and wear a backpack above the messenger. The strap is too short for me to comfortably do this and tends to twist, compared to my old Command which had D-rings and twist buckles this bag is far inferior. The interior strap is a good idea but again is sized too small and makes using the pocket it rests in difficult. Organization is the standard Timbuk2 as far as I can tell. Very light.

Hello, I have several products, from you, this time, I bought this bag, with the intention of using it to travel, since the size is very convenient, and as always of very good quality, the only thing that I did not like was the brooches in blue, I would have liked much more in black, for the rest, I am very satisfied

Great bag, its like the standard messenger bag but lighter. The only issue is the laptop sleeve is not as protective as the standard messenger back

Great bag which I own in an XS size as well. The material is lighter so the larger bag is a little floppy than canvas bags. A velcro strap to hold the back of the bag to the computer pocket divider would be a welcome addition.

I love this bag! It keeps all my items organized and easy to find. The only thing I don't care for is the length of the strap, I wish it to be just a bit longer.

This is perfect, it has so many useful compartments and the length/height ratio in the XS size is great. The only but is that my notebook (a really small one) cannot fit. So I ordered the size S - but it seems too horizontal now, it keeps bumping in everything. I think the length/height ratio of the XS was way better.

Love this bag it's a great size. Quality is as expected with Timbuk2. Only gave it 4stars because the logo label is on upside down. But that doesn't change the function of the bag

This is a replacement for an older small bag, one which I've used for years and love. I've used it traveling all over to carry my computer gear and with enough room for items for when my luggage gets lost (that NEVER happens...) This version is also very good, except for one thing: the strap is not as heavy as my old version and I miss this feature alot. When I sling it over my shoulder I have to be careful that it doesn't twist, and it's light enough to cut into my shoulder

Great bag, understand why it's so revered. Sadly I wanted a bit more structural support, it's not a solid and formed as I would like in a messenger bag but that's my own preference. Great kit otherwise.

This is a great bag for daily use if you don't need to take a lot of stuff with you, which is why I bought it. My only issue is that the shoulder strap is fixed in place. It easily gets twisted up. That minor detail makes this less than a five star bag, at least to me.

I use this for everyday life and for work. Overall good bag. Foam shoulder pad flips frequently. Pockets inside could be little bigger and have a little more structural integrity. Could use one more divider in back for papers or thinner items.

I had a sudden need to carry a few items with me everywhere, so I needed a bag. I don't like most backpacks since they're just too big for my everyday needs. This holds my day planner (8.5" x 5.5"), iPhone charger, sunglasses, medication, credit cards, and phone. I don't want to carry a lot, so this x-small bag was perfect for me. I like that I can put my cards in the front pocket, my phone in the pocket behind that, and keys in a small pocket inside the main compartment. I know exactly where everything is and can find it quickly. It's not great for water. A standard 16.9 oz bottle of Dasani fits in the internal bottle pocket, but none of my reusable bottles fit. I'm sure you could find one that does, though I'm 5'8" and the bag hangs at my butt when I carry it cross-body. I ride a motorcycle, and I like how easily I can shorten the strap so it's tight on my back as I ride. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a pen holder. Why is this really basic feature missing? It would be so easy to put it on the main compartment divider. I found a "pen clip" designed for notebooks that I put on the divider, but I'm concerned it will permanently damage the divider itself. At least it's working. This being my first non-backpack bag, I looked at a lot of bags before buying this. I think it's well laid out, looks great, seems really well made, and comfortable to carry. I never realized how nice it was to have a bag you take with you everywhere

I received this bag from my kids for Father's Day (great kids, right?) and love everything about it except for two small things. First the good, great size, love the style, looks to be really well made. It has a laptop compartment that fits my 15" Mac with a strap to secure it in place. It also has a larger compartment for gear, bottle holders on each end, and lots of smaller zipper compartments to organize. The front has two large buckles that adjust to shrink or expand the capacity of the larger interior compartment and two velcro straps to keep it sealed tight. My only complaints are that it has zero padding so you have to be really careful with the bag if you have a laptop in it. I will get used to it, but I never like hearing the thud of my laptop when I set the bag down. And if I accidentally dropped it, you risk real damage. The other issue, and this is much smaller, is that the handle on the back pitches the bag forward, so if you want to carry the bag by the handle it leans the bag forward at an awkward angle.

The bag is great and I love it. The color that seemed like yellow was more of aioli mustard color. This makes it harder to use it for some purposes.

The bag is amazing. Perfect size for my laptop and has additional space and pockets for books ect. Super functional and easy to use. However, the color of the bag online was not what it was in person. I was disappointed in the color, but was not able To return it as it was a sale item. I like the bag overall enough to keep it, but would have preferred a different color.

I love this bag! I would have gone for five stars but it needs an outside zippered pocket to make it perfect. A place you can put your phone without having to open the bag. That being said, it is my new "purse". I got the small size and it is perfect because I can fit everything I need in it without the bulkiness of a full size messenger bag. Love the color too!!

Size/style/finish can't really be faulted. Since I ordered the 'Scout' color (sort of an olive-tinted dark grey), I was obviously looking for 'inconspicuous', so reflecting 'logo' patches on the flap fastener strap tips aren't so good for that. On the other hand, purple for the 'hardware' (shoulder strap slider and flap fasteners) in this color combination is pretty inspired. Functionality-wise, I don't understand the Velcro in addition to the flap fasteners, and did this little bag really need Velcro this 'aggressive'? Pulling it apart is no small effort. Still, happy.

This is my new everyday work/computer bag. Easy to bike with for my six miles commute (thanks to the provided cross strap it doesn't slip). I got the size small and it fits all the essentials but not much else. Biggest complaint is that the water bottle holders don't fit my Nalgene water bottle or Yeti coffee cup - these have to sit loosely in the bag where they could threaten to leak. Otherwise the pockets are intuitive and I should probably just carry less stuff around. I got the bag in Scout/Shade and love the color!

I ordered this bag to use mostly for travel. It's roomier than I thought, which is a nice plus. I would of liked a little pocket on the back but it's not in the design. The strap is difficult to adjust, and could be a little longer to afford more comfort if wearing a bulky winter coat.

I purchased the green XS bag, and it was awesome. Just what I needed for my small mirrorless camera equipment. However, I did not realise that the locks and other plastic parts including the interior of the bag were in the color purple, which I think messed up the otherwise very stylish bag. So I ordered the black one instead, which has blue plastic parts. I would have preferred it to be all black. Anyhow, I love the Messenger bags and have been a customer for a decade.

The bag itself is great. It is made of quality material and seems to have a sturdy construction. I wish they offered customizations for this model as well but I'm digging the green color - just not so much the color of the plastic bits. The bag was placed in a plastic shipping bag which offers little protection from the perils a package faces in the shipping process. My shipping bag arrived ripped to shreds and the messenger bag inside damaged. I contact customer support 3 different ways and never receiving a response. I tried again, and finally was able to get in touch with someone about a replacement bag (their support page doesn't offer much info for this situation). They ended up giving me a return label and stating they will send a new one when they see I've dropped off the return with the post office. I asked them to send the replacement in a more protective shipping container such as a cardboard box but the replacement arrived in the same type of shipping bag as the first but thankfully it wasn't damaged this time. Also, their order tracking system sucks. Both orders were forever in a status of preparing and then next thing I know I receive the package. Even after delivery, my order tracking remained as pending. Then two days after receiving the package I wouldReceive an email saying my order has shipped.
