This is my third purchase of the weekender bag. I love it so much I bought one for each of my college age daughters. It is practical and well designed down to the strap that fits over a rolling luggage handle. The inside is spacious with interior pockets that still allow for a large packing compartment. I have used mine as a carry on for air travel. Because it is soft sided and looks smaller than it actually is, I have never been chosen to have it randomly weighed to ensure it isn't overweight. I routinely overstuff it! Just a really great overall bag.

Black will go with anything. I was looking for the bag with a strap to slide over the 21 luggage handle. This size is not too heavy to carry alone. Will never go out of style. Look forward to great travels with this one.

This is the perfect size to carry on the plane and around the airport since I'm short. I like to keep certain things with me in case my luggage gets lost (yes it has happened). Love Vera Bradley as it is not only beautiful but light weight.

I use this for traveling and it is fantastic. I can't believe how much room is in the weekender, and it has tons of pockets. The strap is comfortable when carrying it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who travels and would like a spacious bag as a carry-on bag. LUV, LUV it!

Great bag for short trips! Plenty of inside pockets with a big zipper outside one. It comes with a strap and handles! It's a bit small if you're going on a long trip, but for weekends it's great! I would recommend this bag to anyone! My favorite bag to use when I travel or go to friends' houses! (: & Also a great bag for college students!

I bought this same style for my older daughter for her birthday as she road trips a lot. My younger daughter was enamored by it and kept telling me how much she liked it. I ordered one for her and myself. We use them all of the time. Style and quality, well worth the price.

This bag is great for travel. I travel with my job and this is a terrific carryon bag and the slit in the back makes it so easy to slide onto a suitcase handle so you aren't dropping your bag in the airport. It has so much room and I love all the interior pockets so I can stash all my travel items easily.

I just love the size of this bag. Perfect for going away weekends and great as a carry on for the plane.

I am writing this review even though I may have reviewed this a few years ago. I am writing again, because I just came back from another trip and used this wonderful bag and it made me realize how great it still is after all of these years. I have had this for at least 3+ years and it is still going strong. It has traveled back and for to so many places, been stuffed so many times, shoved in the overhead compartment or under the seat of a plane, in and out of my vehicle and dragged through numerous airports and is still and will always be my favorite bag to travel with. It washes in the wash machine very well and looks like new, not faded or worn anywhere. If your looking for a great travel bag that will last you years, this is it and worth every penny spent.

My husband just had a bone marrow transplant and I need to carry things back and forth to the hospital. The bag has a pocket in the front that I can throw things like my iPad mini, keys and phone. I love the pockets on the inside because I can seperate things like his masks, meds and aromatherapy. I get lots of compliments on the bag. The strap is very helpful to keep my hands free as I have to scrub in to go into his unit. I love this bag as it will be great travel bag when this whole thing is over.

This is a great bag for short trips--1 or 2 days. I can fit my outfits, shoes, and beauty supplies no problem. I guess that's why it's called the weekender. ;) I'm not sure I could take it as a personal item on a plane, which was one of the main reasons I bought this bag. I know it would be carry on ok if it were my one piece of luggage, just seems a little big for a personal item, even if it isn't packed full. Overall though, I'm very happy with the durability and quality of the bag.

This is a great weekend travel or carry on bag. Love the flower shower design as it is upbeat and versatile going with many colors. Bag is not too big but roomy. Bag fits perfectly under seat on airlines. The front zip pocket could be taller for I pad type of tech items. Perhaps additional zip on back trolley sleeve when not used as trolley sleeve or piggy back for other storage.

This bag is the perfect solution for those overnight trips. Not as large as a duffle but bigger than a backpack, the perfect size. The inside pockets are great for phone chargers, curing iron, straightener, etc. The reinforced bottom is also an added bonus so it doesn't sag when you pick it up. The slits on the outside make it easy to slide over the handle of any luggage, so it also makes for a great carry-on. I have the bag in Limes Up, and it's a bright and fun color. Overall I am pleased with how the bag has held up over the last year of many overnight trips and airplane rides.
