This is the perfect bag for a weekend getaway. I bought this right before a 4 day trip to New England. It fit 4 days of clothes, toiletries and 2 pairs or shoes perfectly. It's roomy, organized and comfortable to carry or wear. This is an excellent bag for those that take frequent small trips, travel for work, exchange kids often, need a hospital bag or whatever.

The pockets work great for organization, this is why I love Vera Bradley so much!

I love this bag! I bought it initially for a carry on bag for a cruise I am going on in 3 months but I have already used it for a weekend over night bag and I love it.

I've tried the Trimmed Vera, Vera duffels, backpacks and the larger travel bag of similar style. This one is the best bang for your buck when packing for a long weekend or carry-on bag. There's enough room to over pack a little, without getting crazy (as I sometimes can do). Multiple outfits, hair styling supplies, a pair of shoes, make-up, book and camera all fit perfectly with extra room at the top and outside pocket. Lucky Dots is REALLY cute and classy looking.

This is the exact bag that I had been wanting for so long! I love it! It's the perfect size....It's a weekender bag and I still have lots of space in there :D

I went to a convention and carried this on with everything I needed on board the plane. It stowed well and held everything safely. While at the convention I carried it to product showcases to pick up samples and literature..This bag holds a lot and yet, the padded strap was comfortable to carry. I spotted other Vera products occasionally and started a saying g, You have your Vera on! We laughed and it was just fun. We love our Vera!

It was a beautiful bag but I needed something a little bit bigger so I got the grand traveler and it is exactly what I want and need.

I have now purchased 4 of these bags for gifts and myself. They are so roomy and hold an incredible amount of clothing, shoes and toiletries. The shoulder strap comes in handy when your hands are full, but if you are using the handles, they are so comfortable and don't cut into your fingers. The one side has a luggage cart strap that fits neatly over the handle and allows the weekender to sit on top of another bag securely while being wheeled about. Love it!

I bought this bag thinking I would still need another for my hair dryer, etc for a long weekend trip... But I ended up to putting it all in this bag with room to spare! I've used it a few times since and ...Still Love It!

I recently had an over night trip and this bag was perfect. Not only is it great quality and a good size but it's so pretty!

I purchased this bag almost two months ago and was so excited that my vacation finally arrived to test it out! I used this bag mainly as an overnight bag, in addition to a small rolling suitcase. First off, the trolley sleeve is wonderful, although it was a very tight fit to get it over the handle of my suitcase. I'm sure it will stretch out with use, so it should get easier each time. The bag itself held a lot, with each pocket being the right size to utilize for one thing or another. The front zipper pocket is actually large enough to fit an 11 MacBook Air inside a padded case. The smaller pockets on the inside could hold a pill case, jewelry, small camera, or many other things! I was able to easily fit a couple of changes of clothes, pajamas, a pair of shoes, toiletry bag, makeup bag, my cosmetic trio bags, camera, all my meds, chargers, a jacket, a spare fold up cane, and a bunch of miscellaneous things. The bag was still manageable weight-wise to carry and did not throw me off balance when not bringing my rolling suitcase in (and with a cane, that is always a plus!). The padded strap made it comfortable to carry. This was my first Vera Bradley purchase and before even using this bag, I fell in love with how lightweight the bags were and easy to organize. Since then I have purchased other products and have not been disappointed in any of them! My only suggestion would be to add a zipper to the bottom of the trolley sleeve so there is an extra pocket if not using a rolling suitcase.

I adore this bag. i even use it for work because I take so many things to work and it fits everything and is so lightweight and easy to carry. I'm finding more and more that i love a cloth bag versus a leather or other type of material. This is easy to clean as well. Plus the colors and patterns are so fun and bring a certain flair and sense of fun to my day! LOVE you Vera Bradley!

This bag is a wonderful size for a weekend getaway. I also love the pattern I choose. It seems very well made and I look forward to using this for a long time.

I have this bag in Emerald Paisley. I love this bag. When I ordered it looked huge. But after receiving it, I love the size. Easy to carry over shoulder or with handles. It'll be perfect for air travel and carrying those items that you need, just in case luggage is lost for a day or two. (And that has happened to me!)

I got this bag because I needed some luggage that actually matched because I recently started traveling. I used it for my carry on and it was great. Fits all the things that wouldn't fit in my suit case and everything I need to occupy a plane ride- books, iPad, ect. There are plenty of pockets to keep everything organized. There's a great feature on the back of the bag that allows it to slip over the handle of my suit case, which made navigating through the airport much easier.

I have 3 of these. I use them for short trips & for my carry on bags when I fly. Perfect.

I had gone on a trip back in early August and some of my friends from back East had Vera Bradley bags, but I had never even heard of them here in California! So, I ordered 2 bags for our trip to Maui last week. The bags were totally awesome!! Plenty of pockets, easy to find items, and they fit in the upper compartments and under the seats on the plane perfectly!! I love them so much that I bought 2 more items!!!

I haven't used it yet but have done a trial packing and it holds a lot. I love that it will slide over my suitcase handles. Love that it is not on wheels and therefore will fit in overhead compartment on a tour bus.

This Weekender is beautiful, has lots of pockets, a zipper to close it, and much room for most everything I would want in a carry-on bag! I love the black quilt and its durability and attractiveness!!! Definitely a keeper for a very long while!

I love this bag. It is the perfect size for a short trip. I love all the pockets and that it has handles and a shoulder strap. I bought it for a train trip and it was the perfect size.

Have gifted many of these bags along with the Grand Traveler to my sisters, nieces and friends. They are wonderful for short or long trips and lovely to see our loved ones when they arrive at the airport. VB bags are so distinctive and colorful, we can easily see them coming through the crowds with big smiles, as the padded shoulder straps enable easy movement! The bags are not only gorgeous but grand and roomy with lots of pockets to stash items and hold the smaller VB cosmetic bags, so we can get to them easily. Unfortunately most planes aren't as roomy as the VB bags, but in a tight space it's easy to reach in and find meds or a passport, which btw fits nicely into a VB Euro wallet (have given lots of these as gifts too)!! Plus it's wonderful we don't need to check them with the airlines, since they comply as carry on, they stay beautiful and only need a wash to keep them like new!!!

I used this as my purse to carry all my non-clothing items for my flight. Light, comfortable, and nice a roomy- great pockets
