I was afraid this bag might seem ridiculously big, but it doesn't! I'm fairly low-maintenance, so I don't need to pack too much for a weekend away. I was able to easily fit a couple outfits, make up, an extra pair of shoes and my work stuff. I wish the outside zipper pocket had pockets inside. Love all the inside pockets! I think it will make a great carry on bag for longer trips too. Great for stashing a sweatshirt, magazines, snacks, etc for a long flight.

This bag is the perfect size to use when I travel home on the weekens from college. So excited for this school year to be able to use it!!

But when grand-daughter (14) saw it, Grammy never had a chance. Very well made, should last her through college.

This bag is excellent for travel. As stated it is very roomy with lots of pockets. I am so pleased with my purchase.

I've been using the Grand Traveler for my carry-on when flying. I don't seem to know how to pack light, and it can become quite heavy at times. This bag is a bit narrower, and I found I could still get all I needed inside. I felt quite stylish as I walked onto the plane, with just my Heather Glenna purse, and Heather weekender bag. The weekender bag contained a book, MBAir, iPad, iPhone, and all the appropriate chargers, as well as a full liter of water, and a snack! My Grand Traveler will now be used for car trips, as it soft, light, and contains many pockets for organization.

I haven't used my Weekender yet, but I love it. I am traveling next week on a two day business trip. I hurt my back a few months ago and was looking for a light bag with a crossbody feature to make it easier to carry. This bag is the perfect size, it's nice and light, and it will be easy to carry across my body. I bought the blue bandana and just love everything about. I can't wait to use it.

This bag is a perfect size for a quick get-away. I also used it for a longer trip and was so glad to have it. The band that holds it to the suitcase handle is an extra plus. It holds more than I expected. I would definitely recommend this bag to everyone!

I bought this for my niece who is going off to College n the Fall. She LOVED it!

I do love this bag but there are two small additions that I would like to see. One is a loop on the inside of the bag where I could attach my keys. It's a big bag and small items, such as keys, tend to get buried and hard to find. The other addition is a zipper on one of the inside pockets. There is a huge zippered outside pocket but there are some things (passport, keys, wallet) that I would prefer to carry a bit more securely, inside my bag. I lost my car key one time when it was zipped into an outside pocket. While stowed in the overhead compartment, the zipper worked loose just enough to allow my keyfob to fall out. Cost me several hundred dollars to replace the keyfob, not to mention a long and expensive taxi home from the airport. Hence my request for loop to attach keys and zippered interior pocket! Otherwise a great bag which I highly recommend.

Got the weekender in zebra and can;t say enough good about it. Great improvements with the solid color inside to the weekender. It is so nice, lots of pockets and will easily put in a week of clothes in this. I highly recommend it.

This is a roomy, great looking bag. I bought in in camocat to match a few other totes I have. The trolley sleeve is a nice detail. I wish though that there was a zipper to close the trolley sleeve for an extra pocket when not using it as the sleeve. The inside is roomy with two large pockets on one side and three on the opposite side. It is lined with a wipe down fabric, makes it super nice and gives the bag some structure. Perfect size for over night or a weekend. The hardware on the bag is a nice weight and looks beautiful. The outside pocket is very large for all sorts of goodies available at your fingertips. This is a smart design! Love it!

This bag is the perfect size to carry on when flying. It holds my cross body, my IPad, my meds, and my jewelry with room to spare. The packet on the back fits conveniently over the handle on my suitcase. It makes travel so much easier with only the two bags.

I got one for a gift and love it! It's great for a weekend trip and a carry on bag on airplane. I got one for my mom and she loves it. And it's vera bradley what more can you say!!!

Purchased this in the 'plum' to brighten up my all-black travel ensemble and LOVE it. The pockets are nice sized for the odds and ends I needed on the flight, it held everything I needed to be comfy plus a spare change in case my bag got lost. Fit great under the seat in front of me (the fabric helps confirm a bit easier than the more structured hard-side or leather type bags). Only downside is that the space is too small for my roller-board handle to fit through. This REALLY needs to be fixed. That feature is much more important than the 2 small slip pockets on the back.

I bought this bag in the Lucky You design when it was on sale. The many pockets in and out of the bag help me stay organized. I am planning a trip in June and I hope it will fit in the seat in front of me as that is the primary purpose of this purchase. I will try to post a follow up at a later time. Yes, I would recommend the weekender.

I use this as a gym bag to bring my running items to work. This bag makes it easy to store my running shoes, clothes and music items. I also easily store my work clothes in it with plenty of extra room. Pockets on the inside makes it easier to store other smaller personal items. The shoulder strap makes it easier for me to carry this bag along with my work bag and not feel too weighed down. Size is perfect for not too big, but big enough for a change of clothes with shoes and have extra room.

This bag is fantastic! But there is no way it's big enough for a entire weekend trip! More like overnight!! Great quality and very durable!! Love the pattern too.
