I received the Weekender in Emerald Paisley as a gift for my birthday TWO years ago. Since I work two different jobs in different areas each week, I have not fully unpacked my bag for about two years. In fact, It's almost always packed, as I am rarely home. The bag has held up remarkably well for the constant use and wear and tear it has taken. I pack about four or five days' worth of clothes, my makeup, accessories, shoes and jewelry in the bag, as well as other things I may need. The fabric has not stretched, torn or faded, despite constantly being in use. There are no apparent signs of weathering on this bag, and I always say that it was one of the most useful gifts I've ever received. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone looking to get a weekender do so.

Just used today. Had tons of room. Really efficient, easy to. Carry and comfortable.

Didn't use as a weekender... used as a weeklong bag and it worked very well. Packed with nightwear, jeans, tees, lingerie, a sweater, socks, a book, medication, and those non-essentials you just have to take. Made for a stress-free travel thru the airport. Fit in the overhead compartment with no problem. Makes for fast departure from the airport.

Recently bought to use as a bigger diaper bag. Had the stroll around diaper bag, but ill need more room with 2 kiddos in diapers. Im in love with the cross body strap (reason why i picked the Weekender over the Large Stroll Around Diaper bag).

I love, love, love Vera Bradley bags' functionality and I like many of their patterns, BUT, the patterns are sometimes a bit too much for business travel in a conservative industry and also immediately peg you as an American while traveling overseas. Which, is why I LOVE the solid color Vera bags, including the Weekender. I get the functionality, without drawing too much attention. I've used the solid black Weekender for many work and personal trips, both as my only bag for an overnight trip or as my personal item in conjunction with a rolling carry-on suitcase for longer trips. It fits easily underneath the seat in airplanes. Unlike others, I haven't had any issues with it fitting over the handle of my carry-on suitcase. The interior pockets are handy for keeping things like my e-Reader, keys, etc. organized, though sometimes if you fill them too full, they seem to take up more space than the items would if you placed them in the main compartment. So, I've tended to rely more on other small pouches to keep things like cosmetics, electronics cords, etc. organized. All in all, I really like the Weekender bag and find the solid color version especially useful for business travelers and those who don't want to draw attention when traveling overseas.

Love this bag. I have a few. It is the perfect size for carry on items, weekend away or to carry all the hair, makeup, etc items for a longer trip. Love the colors, durability, quality and convenient size.

Given as a gift to someone who travels frequently. They were ecstatic about the bag and all the pockets and the back handle for putting over a pull bag. I had it monogrammed and they were thrilled....

I absolutely love this travel bag. It is very durable and the compartments inside make it perfect for hair care products or perfume bottles. The pocket on the outside is perfect for my I-pad . You can fit so much in this bag. I can't say enough good things about it. I loved it so much that I ordered one for each of my daughters. You won't be disappointed. This was my first Vera Bradley purchase and now I am sold on their products.

Very cute. I wish I would have gotten the bigger one (grand traveler) because I tend to over pack. I do love this bag though. All the pockets are nice to keep your things organized.

This bag is very nice, comfortable to carry and the design is beautiful. If I could I would buy all design patterns available because all of them are incredible.

I've never been disappointed with a Vera Bradley purchase, and this is no exception. My Weekender bag is absolutely perfect. I was able to pack more than enough for a long weekend and it easily fit into the overhead compartment on the plane. My only regret is that I waited so long to purchase it. This is definitely my new traveling companion

I made it through a four-day trip that involved light rail, heavy rail, airplanes, buses and cars and the bag held everything I needed (though I likely couldn't have gotten any more in). It functioned perfectly and my only real concern was that the bottom is also cloth -- which meant that it picked up dirt and nastiness when I put it down. With a leather bottom this would be PERFECT, but even without, it's a great bag. Bonus: on the way back I had to gate check it (fortunately I only had clothes and toiletries in it) and it did just fine through checked bag handling!

Love the colors, they are just as shown and match my other luggage perfectly. Great quality and perfect size for a weekend trip.

Not only will this bag stand up to my usage, it is the perfect size for a small weekend trip or for when you need to quickly grab some things from your carry on. This bag is way more convenient to have going through security at an airport than a traditional backpack. The back sleeve of the bag lets you easily take off and put back on to your luggage handle, while the wide top lets you quickly grab and place your items onto the conveyor belt. This can also be used as your purse because of the side pockets for your phone and other knick knacks. I love it, so happy with my purchase!

Could not have been happier to receive this Weekender Travel Bag. My husband and I have been sharing a small travel bag since we got married and I finally said NO MORE!!!... The Weekender Travel Bag is BIG and LUXURIOUS. Plenty of room for all of our travel odds and ends. The strap is wide and hooks on and off easily. The inside of the bag has great deep side pockets and lots of space for items BIG and small. The only thing we need now is someWHERE to travel to!!!... Thank you Vera Bradley for a PERFECT travel bag.

Love my new travel bag. I use it alone or use the sleeve and put it on top of my suitcase. I choose a color to match my luggage. I mainly use mine while staying at hospital trips with my husband. Its just large enough for 3-4 outfits/shoes for me plus makeup\toiletries bag and his toiletries that he will need as a patient. I even keep 2 iPads and charging cords. I still have some space left if need to add a light weight sweater. This is just a perfect carryall for us. Thank you Vera.

This is one of my favorite Vera Bradley pieces to travel with. My latest purchase was Cobalt Tile. I already own Heather and Priscilla Pink. This past 4th of July ,I traveled with the PP from West Coast to East Coast with an Amtrak ride from DC to NYC. It was the perfect carry-on bag, holding all of my stuff and still fit under the seat! Love this travel bag!!

I am a New VB customer; this order was my First! I ordered two Emily Sachels, as well as the above Weekender, which matches with one of the Sachels. I Really would like a Weekender in Cobalt Blue Tile to match with the other Sachel I ordered!! I Just received the items right now...I Love them All! This Weekender seems to be the Perfect size for me to use as an airline carry-on! It has a trolley strap to attach to my rolling luggage prior to check-in & after pickup of the luggage. It has multiple pockets for storage, can fit tons of stuff in the main compartment, like a winter coat, sweater, extra clothing in case rolling luggage gets held up somewhere along the way, my tablet & chargers, camera & batteries, reading materials, etc, & whatever 'souvenir' items I purchase in my travels! Most of all, I Love the Big Zippered Outer pocket, which is big enough to fit the Sachel, with personal items, In it, when zippered half way up on Each side (Sachel straps can be folded in so they are out of the way & not bothersome)!! And, it has a Wonderful Padded strap to carry the whole 'She-bang'! The Only things that would make this Weekender Better, & that I 'worry' a little about, are whether or not the Zippers will Last (as they don't Seem like they will, but I may be completely wrong on this--hopefully!), & that the Outer material is Cloth Quilt, so may not be Moisture-proof, thus the Weekender May not be too good for travel in winter & rainy weather. Oh, & btw--I had a pricing issue, as I didn't realize certain things about how VB does their sales. I called customer service, spoke to a female named Reggie, who was an Absolute Joy, very knowledgeable & professional...Hopefully, all ends up on my credit card just as discussed!

I love this bag, the fabric is amazing and the quality outstanding. I am going on a trip this month and I cannot wait to use it.

I like the size and shape of this bag. It is large enough and easy to carry. Too bad you can only take one at a time.

This bag is awesome. I bought it for my mom and she was so happy with it. She has plans to vacation this October and I think she already has it packed. Would definitely recommend!
