Wasn't t that impressed. They've changed, no bottom to it so it's very floppy and not a fan of the netting inside, I liked the older ones that were material pockets inside. I made my own bottom so it's sturdy to stand on its own, but would rather it came with one.

I like the lay out but is too large. The smaller hanging bag is organized and laid out differently.

I travel weekly for work. This organizer is ok, but could use a few tweaks. Not all hotels have a place to hang this, carry an over the door hook. If you don't have a place to hang it the footprint is way too big for the counter at hotels, especially if you are sharing a hotel with others. The large main compartment needs a sturdier wall, the large size products lean out while it hangs. All surfaces should have the plastic coating to be able to wash it down. It's pretty to look at. Could use someone who actually travels for a living to try it out while in development. It does hold all of the toiletries you would ever need.

I thought this would be a great piece for a long road trip. It does hold larger size bottles, but that's about all. The pockets inside the zip flap are virtually useless for anything other than very flat items. Otherwise it won't close. I think my large hanging organizer holds more. Sorry I used it instead of returning.

A small tote in itself. Great for long road trip in a car. Holds full size bottles. Too large for air travel.

VB quality has definitely gone down hill. Now they have taken out the flat bottoms in bags that helped make then sturdy?! My new bags just flop over. Disappointed.

I agree with the other reviewer. The lack of a solid bottom makes the bag seem flimsy. It's hard to pack and set down. I can only take it on road trips, not on airline trips. I'm glad I still have my Grand Traveller because while it doesn't look as sleek and streamlined, it ultimately functions much better. It is wider and despite having the same diimensions, I feel like it holds a lot more and does it a lot better. I think VB really needs to improve this piece.

I bought this bag to replace my older Katalina Blue Grand Traveler. I wanted the updated pattern to match my other Vera products. Boy was I disappointed! What happened to the solid bottom?? The bag won't stand up on it's own for packing and placing it down in an airport it just falls into itself. I was afraid to check the bag since it's not even close to being firm. Bring back the solid bottom - it's a piece of luggage. Additionally, it's not as wide as my older version. I can't even get a pair of jeans to fit in the bottom of the bag without the sides curling up (also a result of a non-solid bottom). The mesh pockets are certainly no improvement. The solid cloth pockets did their job to keep things in. Now hair clips, and small items just poke out the mesh pockets and get stuck in the mesh. I want a pocket - something that holds things in- isn't that what a pocket is for? I do like the outside zipper pocket better than the original magnetic flap, since my laptop will now fit inside for easy access. But Vera - please listen to other reviewers on this site - go back to your original standards of high quality designs, material and functionality. In my opinion the new version lacks almost everything the old one had - I see no improvement here.

Liked the bag itself but the print was too busy. I'm a traditionalist who likes a classic look.

Outside was very nice, inside they messed up on sewing it together. I bought one as a gift and hope it didn't look as bad as mine

I purchased a grand weekender bag specifically for carry on for a recent trip. I originally put the bag in the overhead and another passenger and flight attendant moved my bag so they could make room for his roller bag. The bag doesn't fit very well under a Delta plane seat, it sticks out too far. Water bottles kept falling out of the end pockets. It's also very heavy when walking around an airport terminal. Vera Bradley will not exchange the bag for the next size down. I wish an associate at the store would have told me the size isn't made for under a seat when I was trying to decide which size to purchase.

The bag arrived totally crumpled - I have many, many Vera bags and never had one arrive in this shape before. It's especially distressing because the vinyl lining makes it very resistant to uncrumpling! I've stuffed the main compartment in hopes that will help. If not, I will probably return it.

the bag is fine but the monogram stitching was not the best and I regret having it done as it doesn't look professional.

The organizer was squished and looks like it may be a sowing error also. It stands so I am going to test it to see it will stand alone without falling over because my daughter will use it while sitting on a counter since she is so short.

I have purchased a Grand Traveler for myself and my daughters in the past. I decided to buy another one to ease travel when it is just myself and my husband traveling. I am VERY disappointed at the lightweight body and inability to stand on its own without contents inside. I LOVE the durability of the solid navy Grand Traveler I had before. It is well worth the extra cost. I wish Vera Bradley would have offered more than one style rather than decided customers wanted something more lightweight. That would NOT be me at all. Looks like I will have to look elsewhere for my traveling bags now. Very sad customer.

I purchased an iconic weekend travel bag a year ago and love it. My daughter borrowed it and loved it too and asked for one for Christmas. Since she has a family, I bought the grand bag for her for this Christmas. What was meant to be a beautiful gift, has turned into a gift that I'm embarrassed to give. The quality is so lacking compared to my bag, that I don't know where to start. It is so light-weight that I doubt it will last very long, especially with the lack of the hard bottom piece for support. It is too narrow to pack stacks of clothes, and with no bottom support, they will just be a wrinkled mess coming out. Mesh pockets instead of fabric for small items to get hung up on is just the icing on this awful purchase. Vera Bradley should be embarrassed to offer this product at any price point, but the price tag it has makes it even more ridiculous. Are all the weekend bags like this now or can I purchase one that isn't? What do I do with this awful gift?

I bought this bag about 2 weeks ago for a week long trip. SO DISAPPOINTED. I ordered it in Coral Floral thinking it was as pink as it was in the picture. Very orange. The bottom is pretty flimsy. If you owned a previous Vera Bradley bag of any kind, you can argue that the quality has gone down, and you would be correct.
