Great shoes these are my Friday work shoes Heck yea

I've had mine (626) for more than 3 years and they still in good condition. I'm about to order another pair as soon as I get through typing this review. they are comfortable, durable and feels surprisingly light on the feet. New Balance better not stop making them... like ever. lol.

I have issues with my left foot so finding a comfortable steel toe is essential. These shoes provides the support and comfort needed for me to stand 8-10hrs a day. I will be buying an extra pair. Love these shoes and so very grateful!

Very comfy shoe that fits well and the steel toe doesnt bite into my big toe like other steel toe shoes I've worn. Have very wide feet and got the extra wide and the fit is great.

Shoe is excellent fit ,had to go with extra wide, best fit ever, always love new balance, will always keep buying

I require slip resistance for work, and these were the closest shoes to my size I could find meeting that criteria. The toes are heavy, the soles don't absorb a lot of shock, and the sides don't have much give, so if you have wide and or painful feet I wouldn't recommend- extra wide and a half size up didn't help me.

I am a para-transit driver and steel toes are a must (electric wheelchairs and chair lifts are very heavy). Had I known hat New Balance made safety shoes I would have been using them for a while. They fit right out of the box, true to size. After about a month of 6-day work weeks they are still very comfortable and are kicking butt. Again, had I known they made these I would have been using them years ago. Only negative (I know this is hard to read) I have is that they are made in PRC. They make other shoes here why not all?

Second time buying these, great shoes, they're great for my job, they're comfortable, not terribly expensive, my only gripes are that the backs wore out a bit quickly, since I slide my foot in most of the time, and this pair, my laces are very short and I can barely tie the shoe with them. Otherwise, absolutely great shoes!

good news--this seems like a very well-made shoe, giving much ankle and arch support. bad news--I had to return it. I have other NB shoes of exactly the same size, but this one was much too big.

Like these work shoes! Dislike the short laces. I use all the holes and barely can tie the shoes. Extra 1-2" would have been appreciated.

It's a good shoe. I had to put in my orthotic to make it more comfortable for me. The size runs small.

They are very good shoes and comfortable, l have been buying this shoes for about 4 years now. I like them very much.

Wear shoes for work and everyday use. Shoes fit good right out of the box. Steel toe doesn't dig into toes, which is why I like them. Comfortable fitting, last long time. Good quality shoe for the money.

Nice shoe though a bit heavy. I'd prefer a lighter version

the only thing i kinda dislike is the suede but they are great

I'm a security monitor and required to have hard toe shoes on all the time so theys are comfy and help me make it thru the day.

I work in metal manufacturing as a Cutter/ Grinder. Walking and standing on concrete all day is hard on the back and knees. A good steel toe workshoe that's comfortable and durable is a must. The 627v2 so far has done a great job. These shoes are comfortable and flexible with a good fit. Most shoes , not all, I buy for work do a good job to start but after time they become painful. The 627v2 is still holding up to the challenge and time will tell how they fair. At this time doing a great job.
