As a shoe, definitely works as described/intended.

My employer pays for a new pair of shoes every year. I've worked for them for over twenty three years. This is my fourth pair. I did however need to switch out the insole for more support because I'm a rather portly guy in my mid fifties. If I ever manage to drop a hundred pounds I'm sure the original insole would be fine.

I use them for my job is a truck driver and often for hiking.

these are very comfortable and are great for long walks.

I work in a plastics shop. Shipping and receiving, you are on and off the forklift all day. Hard concrete floors can be rough on your feet by the end of a 10 hr shift. These shoes are amazing for that. I can come home and not be in pain at the end of the day. Would recommend in these shoes for anyone in the industry that has to be on your feet all day.

I ordered a size 17 wide and I am so pleased. It is giving me much support when I am standing and it is very comfortable.

This is the fifth pair of NB work shoes. I bought 3 pairs of the 626s then this is my second pair of 627s. Ive never felt more secure on a greasy floor in my life. I spent years with cheap work shoes then I found these comfortable non slip gems. I love these shoes.

I needed a new pair of work shoes. My old new balance shoes were discontinued and I wasn't sure what to buy to replace them. I loved those old shoes, but my toes were sticking out the top. So, I took a gamble on these steel toed shoes. They are good looking shoes and very comfortable. I do use a hard orthotic which fit nicely in the shoe. I was a little hesitant to buy shoes on line without first being able to try them on, but these turned out great. They are now my go to shoe, even when I am not working. Glad I bought them.

I live in cold NY and these shoes are great. They keep my feet warm and dry. The shoes have great arch support which also helps my injured back, thank you.

I buy the same steel toe work shoes every year for my job. This is my 7th year. Great value. Long lasting and comfortable. No break in time required. I've used Red Wing shoes in the past and after using New Balance I'll never buy anything else.

I have horrible feet and had a terrible time buying shoes for years. Now for ever a decade, I only buy New Balance size 15's and no other shoe. Please change absolutely nothing!

Great fit, and so far, very durable. I have wide feet and New Balance is my go-to for well-fitting footwear. The website could be a little clearer with plus sizes, but I'd buy them again without even thinking about it.
