Perfect summer sandal and so many compliments!

I have been wanting these for some time and finally decided to order. They are totally awesome in fit, comfort and style, but the color I ordered does not live up to the image online. I will certainly keep them, but I had hoped for a lighter bone color as depicted in the online image.

I have several pairs of Mayaris but this is my first vegan pair. Fit on these is the same and the vegan pair seems lighter than the birko-flor and birkibuc pairs I have, which is a plus in my book. I ordered the grey color and really like it. It'll look good with just about any color I think. Anyway, if you like the Mayari, give these a try. Hope Birkenstock expands it's vegan line and adds more styles and colors!

Love the Anthracite color. Haven’t worn mine around yet since I am waiting for the correct size. I typically wear 7.5-8. The 39’s (8-8.5) were too big. If you are on the smaller end of the size range I’d size down!

Wonderful sandals. I'm glad I bought them. They are comfortable, supportive, and vegan. What's not to like?

I love these. I have been looking for a casual vegan sandal and saw these. I have a medium/narrow foot and the medium with adjustable straps fit perfectly. The toe strap rests comfortably. I just wish these came in navy and black.

Mayari are my go to sandal for my very hard to fit feet! Love the style and color. The crossover toe is much preferable to a normal flip flop thong piece. Very comfortable and offer stability and great arch support! I have them in most colors. This color was fun for jeans, too!

These are so cute! I love that there is a vegan option from Birkenstock! The style is so comfortable and the color (stone) is so pretty and goes with pretty much everything! I have issues with heel pain and these are much more comfortable than other flat sandals. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and usually size up to 9 for sandals, but the 39 (8-8.5) fits perfectly and the 40s were way too big. Hope this helps with sizing.

perfect everyday sandal

These are my first pair of Birkenstocks. I bought them because of an online review that said they were good for plantar fasciitis. They are awesome. They and Vionic are the only sandals I can wear at the moment. They are surprisingly pretty and feminine with the thinner straps. The first pair came damaged. But Zappos sent a new pair and just had me donate the damaged pair so no one else ended up with them by mistake. Great shoes. Great service. Thanks!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I love them. I wasn’t sure which size to get since some people said they ran big, but I went with the 40 and they fit great. I wear a size 9 and will wear a half size up for running shoes. I’ve been wearing them for a couple of days and haven’t had any issues of “breaking them in.”

Long-time Birkenstock lover, first pair in the Mayari style and they're my new favorites! As always, a perfect fit and superior comfort, right out of the box. The two adjustable straps are great for keeping them in place and seem to prevent that "new Birkenstock trip" thing that happens with every pair of original footbed Birks. You will love them!

LOVE the Mayari style! And the color is awesome! If this is your first time purchasing birkenstocks please note that they run large. Normally I am a 7.5 but in birkenstocks I am a 6.5. But once you get your size identified these sandals are so comfortable with great arch support which allows me to wear them throughout the day walking through the city. I highly recommend!

What can I say I haven't said before about the MNayari??! Love this new color.....Now have four pair. Waiting for a nice navy blue for my next pair. They are by far the most comfy sandals I've ever owned and a far cry from the clunky old hippie birks of my youth. Love that I can adjust the straps, too!

Awesome sandals. I have extremely flat feet and am trying to defer an extensive, complicated surgery on my left foot. These give my foot enough support to alleviate any pain while walking as much as I want. The leather toe thong keeps my toes (which have been displaced by walking on my broken-down arch for so long) in alignment. That also helps keep my foot more properly aligned, and the sandal’s heel cup helps with alignment. I wore these many days while I was doing work on a mission trip in Kenya at rural primary schools—on the go the whole time. They barely look used, even though they had been worn most of last summer in some difficult terrains. And I had no pain as long as I was wearing them. They are a WIN for me! Thanks, Birkenstock! Love! I ordered the Anthracite. Great neutral, goes with everything. Style, fit, and quality are excellent. What sold me on this particular pair is the TWO adjustable straps. Footbed is Devine. This is my first pair of Birkenstock; there will certainly be others. I ordered my normal size, 6M. These have become my favorite shoe in the few weeks since they arrived. Enjoy!

I completely love this! They fit like a glove and are so comfortable.

Love the Mayari but did not care for the dark color. Otherwise they are great.

Lovely but too big and big toe design is tight at the big toe.

I bought a size 38 and I wear a size 8. Fit is great Birkenstocks are my fav but these are not as cute as others I own

They look as wonderful in person - I had to order one full size down though. I am concerned that the straps will take some getting used to and will most likely cause blisters initially.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks - and I am looking forward to breaking them in. I love the style and color. Fit is perfect.
