I love these! My feet are a bit on the wider side and they still fit! Definitely a little less roomy than the normal birks but wider than most sandals.

I have worn Birks for years and years and in the past I could always find very cool colors to choose from. Not so much any more, so I was excited to see the hot pink and turquoise so I bought both. The 2 wide straps are ok, but I would rather have had the 3 thinner straps since I think that looks a little more dressy. There is arch support in Birks which I need and I always get size 39. What I got says NARROW but fits narrow and medium widths. When they break in they will be perfect as they are a little snug brand new. LOVE the soft foot bed and will not get anything but! I also thought the picture of the pink was bright, but the actual sandal is not quite as hot pink.

I loved the pink, but I decided to return for a color that is a little more neutral. Thanks Zappos for quick and easy returns!

Birkenstock says “narrow” in their sizing for these sandals (& that’s all they offer) but it’s really not narrow. My wide feet fit comfortably.

I'm reviewing this soft footbed style because it seems to be new and to have no or few reviews yet. For me personally, with my problem feet (flat feet, over-pronation), this style was not comfortable enough to keep, but those with normal feet should find it comfy. I like the style and the idea of the "soft" footbed, but for me it was only a bit better than the regular footbed. Arch support, while somewhat "there," did not work right for me. I decided to stick with the similar but cheaper "Arizona Essentials" version, which for me are fairly comfortable.

I wear an 8.5/9 and ordered a 39 but need a 40 instead. The pink is adorable but the buckles are much more gold than I was expecting. I’m sending these back and may try another style with less of a gold buckle.

While I like the color of the delivered item, the pink in this picture is a lot nicer. The pros: I love the soft footbed. It’s the only kind of Birkenstock I can wear. The cons: these straps need a break in period. Bring band aids with you. I have another pair of suede ones that were immediately comfortable. These straps are stiff and have cut into the tops of my feet. I know that they’ll break in eventually though. And my band aid tan lines are fun to make fun of. I can walk for miles in these. Love them. They only get less stars because of my bloody cuts.

Would love to see this shoe made in a true narrow size so I could finally own a pair of Birk's! I had to send my 6.5Ns back; they looked like duck feet on me. The turquoise nubuck is supple. I't pretty loud, too, which in IMO is just great.

I am very disappointed in these shoes. The pink bands are so uncomfortable. They leave red marks and blisters everytime I wear them. I paid so much money for them and hate the way they make my poor feet feel.

The sandals I got are NOT the shocking pink as pictured. They are a muted cranberry color. Not what I ordered. Zappos needs to re-photograph. Better would be if Birkenstock had the bright beautiful shocking pink color that so many love.

I have many pairs of Birks because I love how comfy they are. These said narrow but the reviews said that they fit like regular Birks. They do not. They are narrower than normal Birks. These must go back.
