Great fit/feel, casual look that goes well dressed up(night life) or down (casual outing).

After just six months of walking around, I have worn a hole all the way through the sole of these shoes, and now it's working its way through my insole. I walk a fair bit (~10k steps a day), but I typically get a couple of years out of a pair of shoes. To have walked a hole in the sole in barely six months is not a good sign.

I normally would consider the design of this shoe a bit too flashy for my normal tastes, but in all black it was muted enough to not be ostentatious. Comfort was average, sort of in line with a Vans Ultracush insole. It was a weird groove pattern on the insole that some might notice and others may not. Ultimately, though, what failed the test for me was the sole. It’s that cheap, Sketchers feeling type of “rubber” that in my experience will wear out incredibly fast if you’re wearing this anywhere other than indoors. It doesn’t inspire durability in any way and neither would it trust it in the ran. As a side story, a pair of Sketchers I had that felt the exact same way as the sole of this wore out in a matter of months of very limited wear and when I stepped onto a wet surface my leg literally lifted from the ground it was so slippery.

Shoe has a rubber square at the top of the tongue, presumably to hold tied laces in place. One shoe had the rubber square and the other did not. Returning and re-ordering hoping the next pair is not 50% defective. Shoe is a bit long hence the half size larger comment. I wear an 8.5 but in wide Rockports have to go a half size smaller. Even with the half size smaller, a bit long in the toe

I like the way these shoes look. I did order half size smaller because of the other reviews and that was the right call. However, I would not say they are extremely comfortable like the other reviews. They are going to take some breaking in. I would not put them on right out of the box and go on a long walk around town. Overall I like them and are looking forward to when they are broken in.

Really good quality leather. Extremely comfortable. Love the black against beige laces. As others mentioned, though, order at LEAST a half size DOWN.

Shoe runs large very stylish but had to return. A 10 was closer to an 11

They were wider than expected and I have wider feet. Did a lot of walking in them at a conference. Toes were a bit sore. Style was good for jeans not as business casual shoes.

The shoe fit well, just a touch longer than other 10.5 size shoes from other manufacturers, but the same as other Rockport shoes I have.

Good fit, true to the size in IN / CM. Measure your foot first. Rockport shoes run one size down than other brands.

Other reviewers suggested that the sizing was a half size too long. I followed their recommendations. They were right. The shoes are comfortable and very light weight. I like the style; it is a trendy walking shoe. I have only had them for a couple of weeks. I cannot attest to their ability to hold up.

Love the fit, the style, and the price ... equates to a great value.

Great leather sneakers, stylish and comfortable. Both my boys preferred this style over an Ecco shoe. It does run big and I ordered 1/2 size down from their normal size and it fit perfect.

Ordered a 13, feels more like a 14.

Prior to ordering these - I tried on Cole Haan, Clarks and a couple of other brands. The Rockport Cole Ties are great shoes - they are very comfortable and look great and are of good quality. I have short, wide feet, so I originally ordered an 8 EE - which normally fits well. They were way too big, so I ordered a 7.5 EE - which are still a little too big, but very comfortable. The width is perfect, but the size runs a full size too big. I got black, and will probably order the same shoes in brown, but will order size 7.

These shoes are longer than most by about a half a size and don’t seem as wide as they should. Otherwise they’re pretty good. Hard to overly enthusiastic given the size issue. I thought they were close and would break in but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Unfortunately they were too narrow me. For comparison they were narrower than the Clarks Un Costa Lace that I ordered in the same size (12ee).. I kept the Clarks and returned these Rockports. Other than that they looked great.

These were too big so I sent them back, but I did not like them enough to get the smaller size.

Shoes arrived discolored, returning. The problem buying online is you can get inferior or b-grade products.

Other than a subpar insole, its the best casual shoes I've ever worn. Will buy more of the other colors.

These are a great lower cost shoe. They're very nice, but it's obvious that they aren't as good quality as stuff that's closer to $100 or more. These are great. I 'll wear them casually.
