First to catch my eye was the name DUNHAM. I've bought Dunhams in the past and they are wonderful (Still wearing them.) Then the design just says, "Quality"! I wear a size 16 extra wide, have bunions, flat feet and sometimes swollen ankles (got that from Grandma). I read in the other reviews that Dunham was sold to Rockport (another great shoe manufacturer), and they now have shoes made in China (where else these days?), and they are being constructed a bit narrower, so I ordered a pair of these 8000 Ubals in size 16 6E They were so comfortable, I ordered the other two colors, gray and tan, as well. And, again, perfect fit and soooo comfortable I wore them all day and forgot about my feet. They are so well made, and offer just the right support I need. These babies are going to last a while, I can tell. Finally, ZAPPO's service cannot be matched anywhere. They know how to make a customer happy.

Finally found MY SHOE MANUFACTURER after decades. Dunham shoes fit my big, wide feet wonderfully well. I wore these right out of the box for 20 hours and forgot I was wearing new shoes. Total comfort and great looking. I went back for 2 more pair in the other colors. They arrived, and again, the same great fit and feel. DUNHAM ROCKS! I understand that since they moved manufacturing to China you need to order one size wider, which I did and the fit is perfect. These shoes are wearable sculptural works of art! They are very nice looking from every angle and very well built: double and triple stitching all over the place and such great design. Btw--must not forget the amazing Zappo's Crew. I've never had such good help online. Roberta was so nice helping with my most recent order and the shipping was lightening fast. I am one happy guy! Thanks, Dunham and Zappo's!

Purchased 14B (N) - - Years ago my size was A - AA but my feet have widened with time so was concerned if these would be too wide but they are just right. Can't comment on durability as have just received. I like that the soles don't have excessive dirt / stone catching crevices.

I bought these for my son to wear for work. He stands for 3-4 hours at a time working as private security at the international terminal at Bush IAH airport. When I showed him the shoes I had ordered, he was reluctant about them due to their look. When he received them, he was very impressed with both the style and quality of the shoe. The shoes are very comfortable and he appreciated being able to toss out his old work shoes, which he had used for over a year and a half. BTW--I didn't realize that Dunham is an established boot company. They are apparently a long established company.

Good fit, they look good, and very comfortable

I bought these first in size 15d because all Dunhams and most everything else I buy in that size. The Dunham 800 Mid ankle boot fits in a 15d. It is very similar to this 8000 UBAL, especially the sole. But I had to send back and get a 16d and they are none too big. In fact, they fit like the 8000 Mid in the 15. That being said, the shoes are great and I have worn them enough now to know. They have removable insoles so I can use my size 15 orthotics, which are not loose in this 16 shoe. Thanks for Zappos returns being free and easy.

Purchased these shoes as I have another pair of 6E Dunham shoes that I'm very happy with. These were very comfortable right from the start and feel great. They have the exact same sole as my other pair of Dunhams so they should wear very well.

My husband loves this shoe! He has the hardest time finding a comfortable, wide shoe. (size 5E) Well, this is it! The first Dunham brand shoe we have purchased but will definately buy again! thank you!!!

Shoes fit great. Dunham’s are also extremely comfortable for my wide feet.

Do you know how good it feels to have a pair of shoes in which there is room enough for your feet? It feels sooooo good. I don't know whether I should slap my knee and holler YAHOO! or make like the old cowboy and shout Yippie-Ki-Yay!

Dunham shoes fit orthotics incredibly well. Since I’m always looking for a good price on Dunhams I was thrilled with Zappos deal.

I tried 3 pairs of athletic shoes and the Dunhams were the best. I wear a 13 medium and they went on very comfortably. Haven't worn them much as of this time but they were the best of everything I tried. Toe area is boxy enough, wide enough and they have a reasonable arch support. Hope they wear well.

I have very wide feet and this is the best fitting shoe I have found. I can wear them for hours with no problem. The first pair that arrived came in the correct box but the wrong brand shoe was in the box. I called Zappos and they sent me the correct pair which arrived the next day, shipped free. Dunham is the only brand that fits me this well and I will be buying more of them from Zappos. Excellent service and shoe.

These shoes are great for summer wrt color and breathability. The insoles are removable for those with orthotics. Although the NB990 are more comfortable, overall these shoes are a better buy for me. And they come in wides up to 6E.

Purchased this pair of shoes because I had a pair about a year ago. These fit just like the last ones, right out of the box. I love these shoes!
