***Evil Laugh*** Now I can hike through the rain forest whenever, wherever and for whatever reason I want. This hat is awesome- when I first received my purchase (with giddy pleasure) I ran outside and convinced my girlfriend to dump three liters of water on my head. I got soaked (obviously), but not my head. My head stayed dry through a simulated downpour. I cannot wait to use it outside on my next adventure.

This is such a fantastic hat. I am a crossing guard and out in all conditions. This hat keeps my head and shoulder area dry no matter the rain or snow. I lost my original one so this is a replacement and just as good as the last one. You will not be disappointed if you buy it. Dries so quickly and can fold up into a pocket when not needed if you want.

This hat was exactly what I needed! We are walking the dog more these days, rain or shine. I needed a hat with a brim to keep my glasses from being obscured by raindrops. My sun hats were fine, but they became saturated and the brim would sag down by the end of a walk. This hat keeps its shape, sheds water beautifully, and keeps my head completely dry. I liked it so much, I bought another for my husband to wear when he walks or plays golf on rainy days.

I bought one of these hats for myself to use on rainy dog-walks. My husband liked it so much that I ordered one for him too! Stays dry, keeps its shape, very comfortable.

This is my 4th OR hat. I now have two sun hats and two rain hats and I love them all. They are very well made and function as they should. I have tried other hats in the past but none have performed as well as the OR hats

Own several OR hats-all are terrific. Wear a wide brim hat everyday for hiking, walks, errands etc. The Cloud Forest Rain Hat is more lightweight than my decades old hat but that's a bonus for warmer weather usage. I buy L/XL size so that in cold temperatures I can wear a Polar fleece head band underneath hat to keep my ears warm and on hot days I can shift it around to allow a breeze past tye hat's headband as can't stand tight fitting hats in hot weather. Chin strap means no worries in wind and no losing hat when enter indoor facility. Also love that the brim doesn't flop all over. OR products last longtime, not giving up my nearly 3 decades old OR hat though I have reinforced a few spots thru the years. Wash and hang dry and keeps shape.

Water proof, breathable, and light enough to use as a sun hat in summer.

I bought this hat the first time for traveling over a year ago. It has been a perfect hat for my use; it keeps my head & glasses dry and the 2 adjustments on the hat are easy to use and they work. I lost the hat a month ago and immediately replaced it. Note: I have not used it in heavy rains or extreme winds.

Fits and functions like the Helios Sun Hat except this one is waterproof, and perfect for being outside in wet weather...very happy with it.

The cord adjustment around the head means the hat will stay on tight even without the chin strap. Nice that the chin strap is removable and the small taps connecting it to the hat are unobtrusive. I live in the pacific northwest, this hat is a must have during the winter months.

Nice hat. Have been wanting a hat to keep my head/glasses dry in the rain (mainly fishing) but didn't want a sombrero. This is a happy medium

Very nice hat, great rainwear, easily packable, roll it up throw it in your car, in your golf bag, nice for rain or shine. It’s not as structured as the photo shows you. Fits true to size, I was between sizes and went with L/XL, the adjustable drawstring at the back of the crown takes up the slack.

I love everything about it. H2O proof, breathable, packable and brim is large enough to keep the rain off my neck.

I'm a Landscaper. Very Satisfied with the hat as far as waterproofing goes. Sizing runs large. Not satisfied with only being able to adjust fit with a drawstring??! Why not an inner band made with velcro??? My wife made one. Otherwise my rating would've been a 5.

nice color, nice material, but too flimsy for my needs as a rain hat.

The lightest wind blows the rim up. Unless you live in a place with no wind stay away from this hat.
