I'm so happy I finally have in and was willing to pay the price for these shoes. Very light, still so strong. Quick laces working well, spikes have glued me to rocks. I had to run a fair bit on tarmac in them too but they did just fine. Water flows through them quickly and feet dries easy. No blisters, no black toe nails. Loving them.

Fifth pair of s/lab ultra 2's and they are incomparable. I would highly recommend these shoes to east coast trail runners (that's me). They are swift in the woods and allow for a glide stride with a toe strike up hill or downhill. For when the legs or mind gets tired they allow for a little cheat with a heal strike to forefoot stride to tide your mind over until the heat is turned back up. If you like extreme conditions this shoe connects to the trail and your body. It turns slop into compactable clay and wet leafy trails into sure footed strides. The only downfall I have found is not all shoes are completely the same. The first three pairs were wicked tight in the toe box and aggressive in stance and the last two pairs have been comfortable enough to wear as everyday shoes. The color is a little obnoxious but with the appropriate amount of trail on the shoe it tones it down 4-5 notches. The pope wears red shoes though so be like the pope. Love to all!!

La semelle s'est certes use mais l'accroche reste acceptable aprs cette distance cumule sur des chemins rocailleux. De plus le mess est encore en excellent tat (comme visible sur la photo jointe). A noter que je recommande de ne pas prendre une taille trop grande, mon avis premire cause des perage du mess au niveau du gros orteil.

I bought these shoes as a follow-up to my original Ultras when they hit their mileage. It's a great shoe! I do a lot of my long run training in these and ultra distance races. With it's technical grip, it does pretty well in snow too!

This is, hands down, my favorite trail running shoe of all time. I'm on my 2nd pair and couldn't be happier. They last forever and they're the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. They transition well from trail to gravel to road and never leave my feet feeling tired or achy. My first pair has almost 600 miles and still feels like day one. If it wasn't for me catching my foot on a jagged root and ripping a hole in the top of the toe box, I'm sure they would have lasted twice as long. I recommend this shoe to everyone I know because it is that amazing. One caveat: they do run a little large. Go a half size down from your normal size and you'll be fine.

LOVE these! They are my favourite trail running trainers. I wear them for all distances from 5km to 100miles (< did 100miles in a brand new, fresh out of the box pair and they were amazing!) Great when you know you'll be on 100% trails of all terrain.

I've invested in at least 5 pair of the S/Lab Ultra 2 (and a few pair of the original version) and that's because I absolutely love this shoe. Straight out of the box, the upper and interior construction of the shoe wraps my foot perfectly with zero distractions and feels like an extension of my foot. I've done longer distance 50k, shorter stuff as well and it holds up for anything.

These shoes have a great feel to them. A lot of support for the weight and some great energy return with each step. My only issue is the the right side lase comes loose on me. I have never had this issue with my speedcross (which are the best shoe in the world I believe). It looks like it ties in a little different at the top than the speedcross so that may be why. I have not seen anyone else report this so it may have to do with the way I pound while running downhill?

Super happy with the new S/LAB Ultra 2, I've already put about 300 miles on them and I can say they have really held up. I really like that the upper is extremely breathable and durable. Throughout the summer and fall my runs have included several stream and river crossings and the water drains very nicely. I really like that the lace garage is placed up top and works really well with the senifit really securing my foot in place. This shoe is my go to for long runs and is light weight enough to throw on for my speed workouts as well. This shoe will hold up for many miles to come!

i run hard trail and its the perfekt shoe for eny condision

I bought my first pair of SLab Ultra after years of hesitation and trying many other options including Nike, Hoka one one. I immediately loved this shoe. I run 1500 miles a year, mostly on technical trails and run one race a month, from 50k to 100 miles, all on trails. This Slab Ultra is the best: it s light, precise, responsive. The lacing system is easy and allows quick and accurate adjustment when needed. I have never experienced any significant blisters even on very long distance. I currently have 2 pairs of SLab Ultra. I am about to retire the first pair, after running 350 miles with it... but I ll keep it because the shoes are still in very good shape. And I will buy a new pair to replace it. Amazing shoes!
