Overall a great product. They're pretty comfortable. I only gave it a four star rating because the wide-size is a little tighter than other NB shoes.

Good shoe for the price thinking about getting another pair in a different color

Just bought the shoes, true size to fit, ventilation not good as my new 990v4, getting warmer after an hour looks like good for the cold weather.

Thanks to my plantar fascitis, I get the luxury of needing to research and buy specifically tailored shoes. The reviews on the Fresh Foam 1165 were pretty good, so I gave it a go. First impression: "OMG! A shoe that doesn't look like my grandparents shoes, is lightweight, and comfortable!" A couple weeks in: The shoe is still great, but I've noticed that my right foot doesn't "rest centered" on the sole and my arch tends to not be resting on the sole properly. This leads me to kick the side of the shoe on the pavement every now and again to line it back up. Not sure if this is a design flaw or a problem with my foot. Since it doesn't happen everyday, I assume it's a "me" problem, hence the 4 star review.

I'm 245 pounds.I don't run I walk what I look for is a comfortable sneaker with good support and cusions. These guys are not bad!

Great walking shoes, only down side is the heal portion feels a bit harder then after extensive of walking. Feels like it had lost its support some how. Other then that it is a great pair of walking shoes.

The fresh foam line of shoes always provide the "cush" I am looking for and these do provide that cushioning. They are great for standing and walking, but with no other real "bells and whistles" built in, this shoe is limited to do doing just that , standing and walking. So go stand up and take a walk.

Returned first pair, to large. Got replacement in smaller size and different color. Size is good ,but right shoe seems to be missing padding under ball of foot. Not nearly as comfortable or as well made as three other Fresh Foam Line of shoes I have bought.

I would buy more of your shoes if they came in 6E width.

I know I am not the only person with wide feet but NB shoes are not wide enough like they used to be....disappointed, sorry

These are probably terrific walking shoes; just not for my feet. I have been wearing the NB 624 and 623 models for several years and love them. The problem I had with the Fresh Foam 1165's had to do with the toe box which didn't offer as much room as the 624. The fore and aft fit seemed on the short side by half a size as my big toes touched the tip of the shoe. And personally, I thought the mesh material over the toe box seemed a bit "cheap." I'm sure they fit most people. Just not my feet. I'll stick with the superb 624 for now.

It's a great looking shoe but runs small compared to other shoes by different manufacturers.

Insoles not memory foam, already compressing and wearing down after just a couple of weeks. Expected the foam to retain shape, not compress. They do not provide the support my husband was looking for and though the shoes are very lightweight and he wanted them specifically for casual walking, the insoles are just not springing back like he expected. For what we paid for these, we expected better from the inner soles.

Still in the box!!! Have not worn the NB Fresh Foam 1165's yet. Stay tuned! I had to indicate a "star" rating, so arbitrarily chose ***.

I returned these. The quality was good, I have had great luck with New Balance over the years and continue to but New Balance as they are one of the few show makers that have various widths. Even though the quality was good, I found this model to be a bit stiff for my liking.

Kind of tough to give a full and fair review without wearing the shoe, so the 3 rating. I believe I would have been very pleased with the Fresh Foam1165's, if they had fit. They are visibly appealing, appear to be well constructed and adequately padded. I wanted them to fit, but they were just too short. It was disappointing that the next size, which I think would fit properly, was not available. The return process, and subsequent return credit was a seamless transaction.

The sizing in your sneakers is inconsistent-problem

I was surprised that a walking shoe would have such a "pointed" toe box I was hoping it would have been manufactured on a last with a more rounded, roomier toebox.

these shoes are a dissapointment . not enough support.. seems like the larger company you get the worse the product is being made by a company that was great many years ago.. I will after 29 years of wearing nb look at other companies for a better shoe

Not as comfortable as I expected! this was definitely a poor choise!

Unfortunately, the shoe no longer comes in size 8.5 which I need.

As soon as I tried them on, I could feel my foot start to overpronate. I returned them because as shoes used for exercising, my feet would not be getting the proper support. I prefer the NB 847 for exercise.

Not very comfortable. Not like my old 1080 fresh foam.
