These look great, but I'm a 250 lb guy, and while they were cushy there was no stability even for a neutral med-arch guy like me. I took a 1-hour walk, and the next 5 days my feet ached like never before. I mean I was in anguish with plantar fascitis. Not for me, but maybe for you. peace.

It is a pair of very comfortable shoes. It is light weight but with good suport for walking. I will buy it again.

Definitely smaller than I expected. Too close to go up to the next size as that will be too large. After shoes are broken in, hope to have more room then. Shoes are very light and the grey goes well with jeans.

Great shoe, but here is where it gets interesting. I have had a couple of pairs of New Balance 990, which I love. 12 EE is the size. So, I tried the 1165v1's in a 12 EE and it was tight. Switched to 12 4E, and not only are they perfect, but they do not look like clown shoes. Not sure about the differences at New Balance, and I have seen this with them before. The best part of the experience is that Zappos return policy makes this good. Otherwise, it would be off to the store

A rare find. A walking sneaker that comes in wide that doesn't only come in black or white leather.

Wanted a cushy walking shoe and these deliver. Very comfortable walk.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! I have been walking on a treadmill and decide I needed a good shoe. My sister told me to check out New Balance. I looked at the walking shoe. The size and width are perfect! New Balance has a life time customer. And I saw Zappos was the place online to get shoes. You have also gained a life time customer!

I had several shoes to choose from and the choice went as follows 1) Acceptable to my wife color and over all look. 2) fit especially around the ankle 3) how they felt wearing them at work for an hour and these shoes won out. My wife had it narrowed down to 2 pairs and I picked the winner. I tried several brands and the new balance shoes all fit nicely around my ankles. Zappos is great because you can try out several makes and models.

Overall a good shoe. The cushioning is fairly firm in the rear (arch and heel) and has a shape that guides the foot, which is what you’d expect from a walking shoe. The forefoot has room for toes to spread out. They were instantly comfortable and did not require a break in period. I took off a star for two reasons. 1) They don’t seem to breath as well as some other of the other (higher cost, running) NB I have. 2) I would have liked a little softer midsole. Again, great during the first hour... but my heel pad felt a little sore after an entire day of wear.

I like the shoe, but it is too small. Thinking about returning and getting a larger size. Plus somehow you sent the shoes to my son's address instead of mine.

Have had these two months and as you can see from the pics there is not much support on the outside. Shoes are very comfortable but can definitely tell I was walking on outside of feet. I certainly feel cheated I only got 65 days out of $110 pair of shoes. If a bigger guy I would not recommend these shoes.

124E shoe - full size too small and felt more like 2E width. Shoe was very flimsy overall.

The shoes are great. I walk with them every day and my inserts fit perfectly. Shoes came the day promised,the day my old shoes gave out.
