Agree with other reviewers, narrower and smaller than other shoes at same size/width.

These are the best shows. My SO loves them and requests this brand every time. So easy to shop for him!!

Extremely comfortable and ergonomic shoe. Light and yet robust providing enough stability without getting your feet or back tired after a few hours of training. It does run a little small for me, but that's an easy fix!

My first non-white tennis sneaker. Beautiful. Fits great and feels good.

I'n Not sure if my foot size has changed or NB has changed but the last pairs I have bought are a half size larger. I've always been 9.5 EEEE for 25 yrs and now every shoe I order needs to be a half size longer. Also miss having the lasts listed in the shoe description. SL1 was always my best choice.....

I don't know if my foot size has changed or manufacturing has changed but have been ordering 1/2 size larger and fit is better. Been 9 1/2 4E for past 25 yrs and now it's too small. Something has changed but NB used to consistent sizing across product lines. Also bring back which last is used on which shoe. SL-1 used to fit me perfectly! Now hard to tell until the shoe arrives and it's too short and or narrow.

Fencing shoes are hard to find and expensive so many fencers wear court shoes. For me, this shoe is every bit as good as any of the purpose-built shoes. I suspect it would work well for tennis, racquetball or squash too. I have pretty average feet and a D width has always worked perfectly for me. With this shoe, I had to step up to a 2ee. Even that was a bit tight but broke in within half a day. The length was true to size. The only question remaining for me is endurance. If it holds up for a season of hard pounding on tough surfaces, I'll be more than pleased.

Only wide size clay court shoes I could find. 2E was too narrow. 4E plus 1/2 size fit. I wish the shoes were lighter and more airy for Florida.

I wore these shoes for a few days at work before playing in them to break them in. but once on the court they felt great! very stable and have good support for the ankles. the only issue i see with these shoes is the non rubber portion of the out sole may erode quickly. wish more styles came in 4E width

They are very nice looking shoes. I bought them for my son, they were too narrow and too small. I went a size and a half up (to give him a half size to grow in). I hope they work.

Had a problem with my New Balance shoe (#806) smelling like cat urine after each time worn. Received a $75 coupon towards a different shoe which I purchased (#786). So far they don't smell on cat urine after wearing but they are not as comfortable or fit as well as the other shoes.

For a size 4E, the shoes fit snug around the toes. Need a wider toe box.

I have been wearing 11.5 4E New Balance court shoes for 10 years. This is the first pair of them which have caused toe problems when I add the good NB insoles. I'm not happy with them.

I've been a loyal NB customer for over 30 years (both tennis and running). Love all NB products...until now. The 786 is the first NB shoe I've ever owned that didn't fit properly. At my name to the 75% who have said the shoe runs small and narrow.

I think this one runs small, we had my son's feet measured and were told an 11 would work. Sending back for a 12.

Although the tennis shoes basically fit, usually when I play wear one size larger than my shoe size. With this model it may require two sizes larger as my big toes jam against the front when I run and stop quickly causing me some pain.

I've been wearing New Balance tennis shoes for over 20 years now. I play on clay 5-6 times a week and these shoes have performed very well on this surface. I replaced the insoles with a custom pair that provides a higher arch. Other than a low arch, no complaints. Outsole lasts forever on the clay.

I need a very wide shoe. 4E's normally fit. I could not get this shoe on for anything. Please come up with a shoe for folks with fat feet. Need more room in the toe box.

I've always been a size 9 4E but found this shoe very uncomfortable and had to return it. It felt very narrow for a 4E. Probably due to the forefoot overlays. Local stores do not have this style so I couldn't go try it on in other sizes. The web-site is out of stock in the more interesting colors and not sure I want to have to order and return several more sizes to try to find a good fit. Overall, very disappointed as it sounded and looks great and otherwise seemed to be up to the usual NB good quality.
