Toes get crushed. Too small. I was so excited that they did away with that foldover tongue from the last shoe...that was awful! But now they run small. Unfortunately they are sold out of the next size up so I don't know what to do.

Amending my review. I did not realize there was an elastic panel in the shoe. It slid down in the shoe when I originally tried them on, cutting off the circulation in my foot. The footbed is still not made for a wide, but I can wear them.

I thought they were very attractive but the way the tongue is attached to the shoe hits my arch is a way that is uncomfortable.
Disappointed that these won’t work for me.

Toes were crammed in the end. Very stiff and no support. Cute style, though.

This is a really nice shoe and very light. I had to return it because it wasn't the right fit for me.

I LOVE the feel and color of the fabric, and the fact that they are super light. I also love the Vibram sole. BUT...there is something wrong with the cut of the shoe, the place where the big toe is supposed to go is not where is goes. It's very strange, I wish I could submit a photo. My big toe lines up in the dead center of the shoe instead of to the right or left (depending on foot). It's very uncomfortable. So weird, I'm going to order a different pair and see if maybe its just a defect. Fingers crossed.

Super cute shoe. Unfortunately, no support, and the heel and the sole is very thin and flat. They run very small, and although most shoes allow me to place my orthotic in, these were very shallow and did not work with my orthotics. It was just too flat, had to return.

I have wide feet and was hopeful that by ordering this shoe in a "wide" width, it would be perfect for me. Boy was I wrong! If this shoe was a "wide", as marked, then I am a monkey's uncle! I could barely get my foot into the shoe, let alone lace it up. In addition, the shoe is weirdly raised on the outside of the foot bed, causing the foot to roll toward the instep. I am so disappointed, but I am sending them back.

This shoe is decent if you plan to to use it only for running and you use a barefoot style - landing flat or on the balls of your foot. However, I find this style of Vibram sole uncomfortable and too stiff for simple walking when I land heel first. These shoes run narrow. The regular width was too narrow for me. The wide felt fine in the toe and arch area (and I don't have very wide feet ), but it was too loose in the heel. Finally, the thing I liked least about these shoes is that there is a bit of a rise in the outside portion of the sole under the N (you can see its a bit thicker even in the photo). That pushes my foot to pronate a little but. I have absolutely no natural tendencies for pronation and I found this small push very unnatural and uncomfortable.

This is by far the most confusing shoe I have purchased. I am consistently an 11 and I have a wide foot; however, I have always been a New Balance 10.5. According to previous reviews the shoe runs small, so I bought an 11 Wide. There is so muich room in the top part of the shoe, yet tight around the arch. I was going to return them for a 10.5 but since the length fit I did not. It has the width of a men's shoe in the toes but narrow like a woman's shoe in the arch. I cant return them now that I wore them to the gym and realized mid workout that these are NOT the minimus style I have grown to love over the past 6 years. Pricier and worsening fit - New Balance may have lost me now.

These were more comfortable than I expected from the reviews I read. I ordered my usual size.
However, the shoe is very flimsy, unlike others in the New Balance Minimus line I've owned.
Also, the color was nothing like the pretty peach shade in the Zappos picture. It's a loud neon orange (accurately pictured on the NB web site).

My old size 5 NB minimus shoes have served me well in my training and kettlebell regimen for many years but feeling a bit worn out. These new ones were too long by about a half size, and the elastic webbing (or whatever) inside near the arches was too uncomfortable, even in width wide. Had to return them. Style was nice looking otherwise.

I have owned many New Balance shoes over the years and this is the first time I'm disappointed. I normally take a 9W and they always fit. This sneaker has such a tapered (outside edge) toe that the fit is odd. Style-wise it's probably the best looking NB I've ever seen (except for the overly tapered toe box).

I did not like these at all. Hurt my feet. The toe area oddly turns in and makes one look pigeon-toed. Will be returning.

Loved the appearance of these sneakers. New Balance is typically my purchased brand. HOWEVER, I was literally unable to get this shoe on due to the tongue stitched deep onto the side of the shoe, making it narrowed enough that I could not insert my foot. Seemed a poorly planned construction.

The description said these shoes have a removable footbed, but they don't -- unless perhaps they were missing from the shoes that were sent to me. There is absolutely no arch support-- the footbed is entirely flat.

I want to LOVE these shoes. But they are the MOST uncomfortable shoes ever. I used to minimalist shoes, but these are awful.

I was hoping this shoe would be what I wanted. I am very disappointed it is very narrow at the bottom where the sole of the shoe is.

I would return my pair if I could...but my husband through my shoe box away. Worst pair of tennis shoes I have ever worn.

I've loved Minimus for years. Years. And now you've changed everything that was good about them. There's no room for orthotics, the fit is off, they're uncomfortable in every way possible. Please bring back the old style!

I have had several pairs of minimus over the years, mainly because they have a very wide toe box which I need because of a sist of the top of my foot. Don't know why they changed it up but I am now searching for a pair of shoes that fit like the previous minimus. Dont understand why the changes. The last one had the attached tongue which I hate also

I have purchased a minimalist new balance before and I love them. These are horrible, uncomfortable and very poor support. So bummed.

It's a very nice looking shoe, but not for cross training. I typically really like New Balance as their shoes always fit and perform well. This pair fell short for me. For a cross trainer, I expected more overall support especially for lateral movements. This one had none. It was also very uncomfortable for my foot, which usually relies on orthotics - but even with them - the shoe was not at all comfortable or supportive. Will be returning.

As with all New Balance shoes these are too wide. Even if you order a narrow. I have long narrow, low volume feet. I keep thinking NB has me in their scope and order shoes every 3-4 years. But it is always the same. Everyone in this country does not have FAT feet!
